That sounds really pro man! But is definately missing identity...

Some bass sound (but no sub as you have a sub all over) that plays a nice hook with a lot of variations would do the trick I think. It would also be great to drop the sub in the middle part as it gets boring if it's played all the time.

For more variation you could add some one-shots or some sound-FX (or whatever, just experiment a bit and don't be afraid to try something crazy).

If you wanna go Liquid (which seems an obvious option from what I heard) you could add some vocals. The better liquid track does have some nasty elements in it though.

Maybe you should make a little remix competition out of this... Big Grin

Looking forward to hear future versions of this track.

yeah this sound's beuty,..very pro indeed,..just don't dig the drum's,..sound to sluggish,..but everything els sound's big,..crazy pan's n all,...anyway, I'd slap a bongo's loop in there for bit's,..and maybe try layering a filtered break to add more ghost's,..tune's a treat,..cheers

aight thanks mates.

the pro-ish sound may be a result of my experience in trance / handsup, had some vinyl releases n stuff. but since im lovin jungle and drum n bass, and since im listenin to those liquid things you mentioned while drivin around in my car, i wanted to do things on my own Tongue

well i think ill do some crazy things to the track as you said, it should remain a bit loungy tho

cheers mates

Cool, just enough touch and identity to give it a little rough edge and still keep it loungy.

Please post some tracks on this site when the new server is up. This sample is promising.

I actually don't care for the changes you made in the 2nd version...
seemed more cohesive to me before, even if it didn't have much direction in the 1st version. I think that a lot of the fx you added dont seem to fit well.

Your production overall sounds excellent, but I don't care for your drum sounds. They are a bit bland and the hits you have chosen do not seem to compliment that nice sub and vibe you have going in this track. I would prefer a bit fatter drum hits that are very clean for this kind of track. equipped's idea of a bongo loop may be a good one as well

I think that if you keep a more minimal sound, choose fx that fit a bit better and carefully plan drops and an intro/ outro, you'll have a real nice track.
