Hey peeps
can any1 give me any pointers on makin that chillout section in dnb tracks? i want to be able to change the mood and calm the song down a bit then build it up again. u no wat i mean. i got it goin on a bit but does any1 no any secrets bout it. i need help with the transitions between sections too. any help is good

taking out the high hats slows things down. you can always go for the twice as slow beats and all but I'm not sure what you mean with help on transitions. those things you gotta do yourself man, kind of the thing which makes the track. post a clip on what you have in mind / working on

also some references would be good. Dieselboy - Barrier Break springs to mind when talking slowing down and a massive buildup
