i want to use your not alone by olive in a track but cant get it in time. i want to try to avoid using fruity slicer if possible cos it will take 4 time. anyone point me in the rite direction?

Take 4 time? Anyway, see how much bars it is, see how long that much bars in your track are and use a wave editor (like Adobe Audition) to change the speed. Some of the programs let you keep the pitch.

pull it in the thing below on fruity , then you can see the whole wav .
Then you can either click on the wav corner and detect speed.
but remember 180bpm =90bpm = 45bpm you know what i mean ?
else you can just check the wav , look for any pattererns in it and pullit out or in , cut it and fuck it up.
its hard i know , but training learns you a lot.

take 4 time. i mean take a long time jus slang where i come from man, gonna try the wave editing thing in fruitys but not sure wot u mean with bpm 180 90 45 etc?
