anyone got some expierience with the DAP Audio Argon mixer?
it's got three channels, each with three band eq and VCA faders. Crosfader is an optical with adjustable slope. And above all that it has got send-return function on every channel, so you can attach an external fx loop..
all this for around 250€ new..
but DAP audio is not really a well known name for mixers, and it all sounds a bit too good to be true tbh...

I don't have any first hands experience with that mixer, but in general DAP is not really known as a high quality brand.

exaclty what i was thinking too..and the kills for the eq's on channel 1 & 3 are placed very weird imo, next to the x-fader? makes you lose all the advantage of a optical x-fader which should be able to have some good scratching on..
while we're busy bout DAP Audio, has anyone got experiences with their Pallidium amps? I'm planning to buy a P-500 or P-700..but is it a wise choise, is fe a American Audio V-1001 a better choise or not? (but the thing is i maybe could get dap stuff at 'groothandelsprijs' and american audio not)

Brands like dap, jbsystems etc often "copy" the layout of well-known brands. It's quite clear to me that this one is a copy of the vestax VMC/PMC275, wich also has the kill switches on that location. I'm afraid the circuitry is nowhere near vestax quality though.
I can't really give you well-founded advice about the amps.
