Life: that thing that keeps pissing me off.
I don't adhere to any particular faith or ideology really, but I can say a few things with confidence, things I've experienced myself. First, there is no meaning to life except for what we assign to it. For real. Think of it this way-- if we're given, say, an object which has no readily apparent function to us, then what is it? Just a functionless item, until we find something we can use it for. The same, I believe, is true of life. Since we don't get an instruction manual at birth (though religious types might argue otherwise, I suppose) life is essentially that functionless object. It exists, but not for any other purpose than what we give it.
And I think that's the essence of the whole 42 thing, hahahaha....

Nope, resources have all to do with supporting life, a significant amount in the meaning also, but not the very meaning itself. Ahh well

you're right - money is not real, just some figures on a piece of paper, computer screen etc.
and according to the Maya's prophecy mankind will stop using money very soon, something like 2010-2020

funny you should bring this up, im just having to read Adam Smith for exams - hence no tunes - and he would say - i think - that you always have to have some kind of gold standard, only it doesn't have to be gold, essentially something tangible backing up your currency. tho he doesnt think that - like the mercantilists - that means you should have no free trade, ie high tariffs on imports, export as much as you can, to do well.
don't really get economics has to be said, but i was literally just reading the guy about this kinda stuff, so couldnt resist. sorry for the

Well, not quietly. But anyways, there are limited amount of resources, so every user has to has some kind of value which will determine how much of the 'global' resources he holds (or has the right to hold).
