lol.good idea cynik but its a bit shit if youve used loads of rex files. i used to get this a lot, best thing ive found is to just self contain everything and then save multiple instances in the first place, so if one version doesnt work the other might. as for this,id give up on it.

thinkin a bit about this problem and fearing the time when it could strike my own tracks. came up with this idea which works. could be there are better ways so if you know speak up
step 1: make Recycle your default program for rexes. (if you know how or if it is already default move on to step 2. you will know it is by doubleclicking a rex file and Recycle opens it)
right-click a rex file -> open with.. -> choose program
then it lists the programs, if recycle isn't in it use browse to find it in Program Files
make sure you check the checkbox below which says "Always use this program to open this kind of file"
step 2
this is real simple now. it's easier if you have many rexes in less folders. select all rexes and hit enter, it will open all of those. now you save each one and close. shortcuts on keyboard are CTRL+S then ALT+F4
