hi all,

i'm currently working on a tune that needs two very specific sounds:

the first one is the 'uh'-sound (its a short vocal) like heard in some hardstep tunez. (check Anfo D - possession, this one has a similar 'uh', but not quite what i'm looking for)

the other one is that typical acid sound.

now the question is (especially for the acid sound): do i have to look for a sample that fits the description, or are there any vst's that are specialised in acid?

as for the 'uh' sample: does anyone know a site where ''exlamation''-samples are found? or do i have take up a mic, and start screaming my own distorted shiznit?

I use the audiorealism bassline synth - a great emulation of the classic 303 acid sounds.

yeah but it's the distinct Roland filtering that gives it the 303 sound.

I recommend ReBirth as it's pretty easy to use and also free

you'll need to register to download and use a virtual drive (Nero) to setup the disk image

edit: just saw youre in need of a vst which Rebirth isn't, it's a standalone. what the hell, you can always bounce

You can use it as a "plugin" in reason (The only external program you can use in reason). Not sure if you can rewire rebirth itsself, but if you want to you could rewire it through reason.
