OK, for those who didn't check the original thread: DeeJay Delta requested me to do a remix of his latest track, Cathedral. I said I'd give it a shot, and this is the result: http://de9dekunst.dimi3.com/DeeJay_Delta...etcher_Mix).mp3
Was planning on making the sub less straight, but my experiments didn't turn out as I hoped, so we'll stick to this version
This might be the most remixed underground d 'n b tune of the year - Scienide already remixed "Cathedral" and DJ Toxin is working on his reconfiguration.
I'm definitely gonna check this out and offer a bit of feedback if I can.
Surya, Delta submitted this tune at DnBScene. I'm gonna give an in-depth review over there if you don't mind...give me a few days. I'll post the link once it's done.
I know what ur saying man, you're defo right, and maybe I'll make a more personal mix of thisone later on. Altho I thought the original buildup in the beginning was quite decent, so I kept it quite the same.
Also, the main reason I made this remix was to improve the sound of the bassline, since I didn't like the original sound. But still, you got a point
Only think I don't recognise is the thing about the bass being too low. I have quite cheap monitors, so I can always hear and even see it if that is the case, and I don't see my moni's having any problem with this track.
Glad I still get a 7
