Numark has announced their new iPod DJ mixer on their website.
The new version works with a single iPod, has pitch control (which might be considered as a useful feature) and support for external harddisks and USB sticks. It also has a number of analog inputs so you can hook up more conventional players to it too.
More info here.

Available from august, estimated price around €600.
Nice toy to learn beatmatching, but if you learn to mix on this you'll have a lousy first gig on vinyl.

It looks damn nice and it's a very big improvement,... damn it's expensive
. If the price wasn't that high I would really consider buying it, just for fun.
I guess I'll just have to stick with my 2 SL1200's and a shitload of vinyl

I don't think it is that expensive. If you buy a good mixer you will quickly spend 500€ or more. An digital interface for DJ's or software like traktor or finalscratch will easily cost you 300€ or more. So If you allready have an Ipod or other digital music player (And I'm guessing most dj's and people with a passion for music do), or just an external HD, and you want to enter the world of digital dj'ing this is a pretty good deal I think.
