thanks again for all your tips, starting to grasp the world of D n B production and its a fuck of alot harder than you think when you hear proffesional tunes, however i'm still having alot of EQ trouble. i've layed my beat down in cubase, compressed it .ect. and it sounds pretty hot but my bass and melody are still clashing. i'm still yet to find that clean sound where you can hear everything that is happeneing in the tune, i'm sure that once i've mastered this i can do some seriouse work. i get so frustrated caus i've started about 10 tunes, all of which have quite alot of potential but i just get to a point where i cant make the beat and the rest of the track work together so i just start from scratch on a new tune hoping that i'll do something differently. please help, dieing to get past this stage and put an album together, i mean shit i've got enough tunes but i just need to be able to finish them. peace.

p.s. thanks again for all your help so far, some good experienced advice.

look. better upload the tune somewhere and provide the link. there isn't really much in theorizing unless it's applied to the real thing
