yo just sat down and Feel-lized that i ain't feelin the 45mins i just put in so i scrapped it. started again and just felt no inspiration... i guess it really can't be forced.
what are some methods you guys use or things you listen to/watch to pump you up?

i personally get lot's of inspiration from hearing v-snares ; shitmat an bong-ra
the moment i hear these i wanna make some wicked shit myself

give up, go and get a job or get laid or get drunk or get stoned or go to college or take some samples and buiild a huge unique sample library first and then worry about putting a tune together at the end of it all.

don't worry about it.
go to a party.. in the past I was gettin ideas from all those tracks I hear. they get mashed in my head along with the sounds I hear that weren't there in the first place
.. happened regularly, upon hearing again the tunes sounded different especially at home.. then do some living. then again partying.. inspiration must hit at a point
things changed though for me, I just dont hear those (hallucinations?) anymore. maybe I'm getting old.. or it's the productionwise point-of-view I take now, opposed to the plain listening

What do I do for inspiration? If it's DnB, I watch the video of the police raid on that event down in Nevada, the one where they got the SWAT teams and wotnot out over a permit technicality. That usually gets me goin'.
"Block" is nothing but an excuse to hate everything you're trying to do.

umm i listen to aphex twin. or the v-snares as someone else stated
or i go sample hunting for a couple of days and then go back to it all

I grab my laptop/sampler and start making music on my bed. Running around with recording devices for new sounds sometimes also works. And of course banging the hell out of my double bass.

I listen to some cool stuff in my car and analyse it all the way (I heard wormhole from Ed Rush & Optical atleast 100 times). After arrival I sit down behind the machine and start banging.
At the office people know I'm into Dnb as I'm beatboxing all the time, also helps to find inspiration.
I prefer making music on a laptop too (although latency is enormous), but limitations make me creative. I creat better stuff with my old techno samples on an old PC with FL3 then on a new machine with many plugins and tons of typical DnB samples.
I also seem to be more creative when I have a nasty task waiting or when I'm unhappy. (Happy people have no stories??).

when out of inspiration,...i just take a huge break,.. go sample hunting as allready said or ill make new bass preset's on my synth's,..use to think i could jam,.. but if there's no inspiration for the DNB,...also none for jam,.. 
,..it's a tricky fuckn thing,..a good show will do the trick to sometimes,.....cheers.
