yep, dem technics are the dogs bollocks imo!!!
I had a pair of 1210's in 1999 and was blown away by the sensitivity and control they had.
I could go an make a cup of tea, go to the toilet come back and it would still be on the mix as tight as it was when i left em!!!!
How i came to be without them is a sad and tragic tale which i wont go into now...
but anywayz i'd sell my own grandmother for a pair thinkin about it!!!
lol
enjoy emmetje!!!!
enjoy.....................

btw i indeed wonder if Dj'ing is not becoming a female activity while most males now go producing
but give me some time to be really good at Dj'ing before i start producing myself..

Yeah, I've always wondered why there are so little women DJing and especially producin. If needed I can help you out with the latter, so tell me when you feel ready for it

actually i don't really know what i want to do
i like so many different styles of drumnbass, i think i like almost all tunes that are deep, sophisticated with many elements in, but this can go from the most stupid wobbly record until hard shizzle
i just don't like minimalist music at all
of course my favourite producers are Spor and Raiden, but i also like so many other things..
i've noticed that what i like to mix is not the same like what i like to dance on..
i think i'd like to be able to do a little bit of everything.. variation that is..
now the records i'm mixing all the time for the moment are Noisia - Concussion, everything i have of Spor, the Utopia EP of Raiden but also various tunes of Blame and Fresh - The Immortal.. and anyway, i just don't have enough records yet

you'll find your own vibe in time, in the beginning you always tend to go to the whole spectrum of dnb, unable to decide between all the genres around, then you find it's impossible to have it all and you focus on finding your own touch and making it coherent. That's the next step when you actually go out mixing.
but it's all good if you keep bedroom djing, mixing is a healthy hobby after all, it keeps you focused, works out your memory and music blending creativity and most of all it completely cuts you off the rest of your problems and hassles... And that's good sometimes
just keep working on your technique, mix every day and you'll be a true DJ in no time

hahahahaha strait up sarcasm...
and if not...dayummm lol...
but big ups...
to me, with what surya said above about there be little women in the scene... ive kind of wondered about it, and came up with the conclusion that girls love a spotlight, but too much attention is a bit overwelming...
my girl wants to learn, but told me in advanced shed never beable to play a show because of the level of pressure...even if its only like 50 people...
it makes sense in a way... but i dunno...i deff think there shoudl be way more girls in the scene... who knwos what kind of crazy madness some girls can pull out of their ass'...
look at dj analyze fucking amazing break dj, then theres shortee, dj rap, melody ashe... SO many...and theyre all fucking sick...
not to mention girl house djs such as jenn lasher, and jphlip
