sup cynic.
massive eclectic madness going on here. very well thought out and arranged. i really enjoyed the non-linear fx on the ambiance. the sequence beginning at 2:45 is amazing. the high end siren/synth is quality.
before i got into more traditional dnb i was a sucker for shadow records and ninja tune. this track makes me feel right at home. great ish cynic.
peace.

yeah boy , i was expecting thisone
allrite lets have it a listen...
wow , starts off very nice n choppy :p
intro drums were nice chopped man , we got another chopper in da house
ambi is good inhere , maybe filter the introdrums with flanger to make them sound like intro...
ow its allready 2 min now
, i did expected some distorted bassdrum madness , but the drop doesnt seem to bomb
.
Aldough its a very nice step into the breakcore/IDM world . nice touches of the overall .
its original that you work with your own drums instead of amenstuff.
while the bpm is fast it doesnt seem to go fast , maybe some more dunno ...
cool thang cynik

Hey dude, Sorry Im so long. Been really absorbed in a track Im doing ATM.
Really nice intro, reminds me a little of the doll doll doll album.
wasnt what I was expecting at all. Definately more IDM (fucking horrible term) than breakcore, still cool. To be honest, I really like the ambience and the synth sounds cool. But the drums definately need more drive and aggresion. Because of the flowing nature of the atmosphere you really need a lot of momentum to compensate and keep the speed up. Kinda sounds like a pulled about halftime thing at the moment
Sounds nice though, really full sounding, occasionally a little washy (too much reverb occasionaly), perhaps a few really standing out noises to add some reference here and there.
Definately different though, I do really like it. Theres still some really obvious DnB references but a lot of other ideas too.
My only real critisism would be that it never really goes anywhere. The same kinda sounds and ideas the whole way through. I also think that it sounds extreamly digital, which is nice and futureistic, but I think sometime this can work better when you have some really natural sounding elements, even vocal samples.
also the drums really need something more. A lot of the time they get lost and the work that youve put in gets missed, more punch is definately a must.
Nice to see your going somewhere different, you can see the attraction of doing the weirder stuff now cant you? So much more space to have some fun.
Overal this is really cool. I love the synths all the way through. The intro is great too, as I said aleady, it reminds me of some of doll doll doll, which is one of my favourite albums. Just more development of the ideas and make the drums clearer/more agressive. well impressed though, fucking cool.

I didnt mean that the synthetic sound was a bad thing. I just think that it could be emphasised more if you use a few "realer" sounds. It'd act as a bit of a counterpoint to the digital sounds and really compliment them, like putting pepper on strawberies to make them taste better.
For a first time venture into this kinda stuff, this sounds really good, and I dont really think you can take steps in the wrong direction. I think that is kinda the point with experimental music, there is no wrong or right direction.
I thought this was a bit reminiscent of some amon tobin stuff, in terms of the overal mix. The doll doll doll reference applies more to the intro and background noises than to the tune as a whole. The doll doll doll albums is really raw sounding for the best part, while this track has a more clinical edge to it.
Definately a cool tune, I hope you do more of this kinda style.
edit: forgot to ask, is your avatar one of the ships from the movie "Tron" ?

This track is fxcking awesome. Like most people I think the drums could use a little extra power, but the overal flow is great. I love the bass pattern that shows up around 1:12. This tune has the potential to be a steaming dancetrack, with some modifiations that is.
Im not to fond of the explosion-break though.
Around 4' I start to lose interest because there are no new elements.
The end part is extremely cool.
Good one dude!

fcourse. Tron is one of those films you can never forget, left a huge impression on me. I used to dream the light cycle drive scenes
as for the photo, only brightness/contrast was tweaked. it's a cellphone photo, with a slightly dodgy fisheye lens, hence the disfigured perspective
