Some info:
Black Hoe is an independent netlabel set up in 27.01.2006. We would like to promote jungle, drum'n'bass and breakcore tracks of unsigned artists worldwide. We are a non-commercial organisation, releasing singles, EPs and LPs by our artists in MP3 format, which can be listened to absolutely free. No need to subscribe or login.

I think net label is a great thing, but I wait to protect the authorship of my works before I send tracks to any of them

Lots of ppl around the world can trust me not stealing their work. You can take a look on website or myspace page to look what artists I signed up for this project. That's all folks!

Our released and signed-up tracks are protected by Creative Commons. Visit: www.creativecommons.org. Should tell You that this term is used by EXEGENE ( www.exegene.com ) (You may know about this netlabel) and other several net based labels. 'Creative Commons'' logo is shown on the main page.

the only way to protect against stealing is having proof you made the song. everything else is just neat.
actually having it on a website like this can also be a good way of proving you had the song out first, there are witnesses and stuff. it's copyrighted AS SOON AS YOU MAKE IT INTO A SONG.
they are just offering a site to post it, like we have here. another alternative, except they have the discrimination of putting good material up, and not just any ol track that's almost finished, but not really, or is there first track, or whatever.
good idea to have an editor, if you will, who makes a decision of quality.
