Hi y'all, I wan't to buy a new needle for one of my decks since the current one is wreckin up my precious vinyl at the moment. So I did some research and decided Ortofon PRO is what I'm going for. So they sell the Concorde series and the OM series, wich deliver "as I'm told" the same sound but have a different look.
Is this true, are they exept the looks the same deal?
Why sould I buy the Concordes instead of the cheaper OM's?
What are the (dis)advantages of both?
Does anyone have experience with those needles?

Concorde's are easier in use imo
u can just get em out of the box and plug em in you tt
with OM u'll have to mount em on a headshell first
it's maybe also a matter of taste, wheter u like the raw, technical look of an OM on a headshell, with the visble wires, or the streamlined, future look of a Concorde
I've got Concorde DJ-S'es, they're a bit better and more expensive than Pro's and I fucking love em, best needles availble
And I've only heard OM's on a very very crappy JBSystems tt so that doesnt count
