The downloads of CentOS are finally complete. I'm going to burn the 4 install CD's now and will start the installation.

I have aborted the installation, I need to know the network details (which IP address the server will have etc) before I can finish it...
I'm going to call the colo people tomorrow to see if they can provide the info for me.

I'll try that, but it will make it much harder for me since I'll have to change every occurence of 'http://www.drumnbass.be/' in the code to 'http://random.ip.address.whatever/~drumnbass.be/' to be able to do the testing, and then change it back before going live.

I thought there was some apache module that could do this for you? Also - there shouldn't be too many drumnbass.be links, I hope most of the urls are using relative paths...

Apache can't do much about the PHP, only about the HTML output
I use lots of includes in my PHP, that needs to be recoded

I'm a bit strapped for cash atm, all is ready but I need to pay for a DirectAdmin license which is $299 and the payment of the first month of hosting which is €39 for 200GB transfer or €49 for 300GB transfer. Maybe there will be some extra costs for the hosting too, still have to find that out. Unfortunately I don't have any cash atm, bit shitty situation, I should pay my rent before rushing to buy server components instead of the other way round
Good news is that I have some upcoming payments which are now overdue. If they are not on my bank account by Monday I will start to phone up my late paying clients and do some proper harassment so I will get the cash quickly.
And damn that server is noisy!!! I wonder what the data center will sound like with hundreds of those noisy bastards together in a room
