Please check out my new track 'Burning (Munki c vs Cheesy Wotsits ) remix comp entry' and post your comments here!!!

I havnt had much time for this so it could be a little messy on the mixdown side, you might need to eq the low end and mid a little. Its a bit short n sweet but ive got to much else to do to so nine minute epics are off my agenda for a while. let me know what ya think.......

Peace
J

really like the use of the synth sample

drums sounds good, very natural roll to them it would seem

fuck man heard that vox so many times!!(startin to go mad)

the drop is well executed when you keep the original in your head, you have def kept the vibe with this one

nice kinda ragga piano stabs on the second breakdown..
eq-wize the reece is too loud on the high notes, maybe drums get a bit weak soundin after the second drop

very good remix

thanks mate Bigup

yeh the vocals a bit much after about the tenth listen.....thats the way it goes......personally i would have gone for a dark spoken sample if id made the original, didnt really want to add anything to different though.

the vocals seem to up front and dry int he start, i suggest more verb on them.

nice intro.

you got the bass sounding like the original one. nice

it says it's an entry to the remix compo. so don't try to cover it up by saynig you don't want to be in because you submitted so early. it's okay, i got mine done now too and i got 2 school projects going on. there good

intro flows in nicely , cool use of filtering .
ai , some to much high end @ 0:39 , just for a second tho.
nice synthstabs , filtering does its work , all seems fine.
drop :good one , just the reece its low end is to high , cut some freqs off below 30hz.
ooh that reggae sounds just fine Rasta
style reminds me of some early concord dawn stuff .
drums are light n airy , like it.
good composition of samples n nice structure.
nuttn more to say , just some EQ issues.

intro is cool , sounds like everythin needs a bit of an eq re-work but still onto the track.
synth is nicely well replicated to the original, sounds a bit like a preset in zeta, drums are nice but sound a bit too bassy IMO. build up is real nice i like it alot, drop is cool also, everythin has a real nice warm vibe.

overall: good tune, lots of nice ideas to keep the listener interested, but needs an EQ

Nice clean production - sounds tight n' bright. Kick sounds a bit muddy by comparison. Bass and drums at drop sound a bit dry and are revived when trance(?) sounds come back in, but they should be able to stand alone. Nice track though - flows really well and like the lpf work.
