woah dude...
as much as i dont liek the sounds youve used (cause ive heard them so many times on this site
) the intro is very clever...
i love the sequencing...
but when it drops... theres nothing there...
the intro sets you up for a proper build.. sp i was expecting something pretty manic.. and i jsut got the quick stabs and the strait breaks...
and its kind of the smae thorugh the track...
the builds are my fav parts of this track by far... i wish the rest of the track resembled more of the builds...
but for what this is...
the mastering sounds clear on my speakers... not that theyre great... but everything seems pretty clear...
good stuff... hope the finished one is fucking manic

big thanks for the reviews man..
i know this track seems pretty stripped from the drop onwards, i guess i gotta watch my quality control levels and maybe my choice of samples..
keep reachin for the same sounds when i got a gig of shit layin round my fuckin pc, gotta sort em all into folders
but then that could take years, arrggggggh
all comments taken into consideration
respect

The build up for the track sounds crisp! very clear and good quality... those samples tho, do you use vsti's? really sick of those samples... They just dont do the track any justice what so ever. The hats at the beggining sound really nice just right on the reverb. they set the track up for a big drop and thats what comes
it's a shame about the samples tho, in junglist you can make some heavy reeces/saws that would replace those samples real nice. they could probably do with a bit of chorus and some more reverb just so they dont sound so set out as when you downloaded them! If you use fruity there is a real cool thing on there called the Granulizer, if you stick a bass sample in to that and mess with it you can get something totally heavy and nothing like the original.
The drums in this track are probably the most impressive part, the track does have a good bassline. Cant really comment on the mastering, i'm at college listening on some sony in-ear headphones.
What do you use to make your tracks???

first listen:
i dig the eeire fx and that old-school rush. good beat and nice touch on the backbeats and fills. the sound levels are spot on. at 2:36 now. i like the reintroduction of the vox. i like the low end bassline, and really this whole sequence leading up to the breakdown.
second listen:
i bet you could replace those late 90's synths. you have production skills, as evinced by the overall sound quality. you are just being lazy
the sequence from 2:30 to from 2:52 is great. the bass might be a little to much, but i like it.
final run through:
the ditry synth rushes in the intro are great. timeless sounds. i dont care what anyone says, they are as much a part of dnb as the amen. those 'casio' sounds are easy for me to overlook, but definitely detract from the overall sound. the low end synth stabs that start your loops could stand for some variations as the track goes on.
overall:
good things going on. i like 32 count beats and the space they give to work with. i really thought you would bring in that dirty synth rush from the intro here and there as the track moves on. even having it ring in before the drum fills. that would sound great for your transitions. of course, this track is far from done. youve got a got two minuets left in it...
hope this helped.
peace

intro is sweet.... ambience is nice.
although the first delyd stab hit u got sounds way too firmilar.
the vocals are alright... yeah the intro is alright and builds well.
the first drop is cool but it is abit dull. i dont know why... not bust enuf or not rollin enuf... i dunno i agree with surora on his comments.
maybe u need some mean hat/cymbal groove at the drop.
the arrangment is pretty sweet. hmmm strange tune.
keep em comin man

hey glim: short on time - but just checking this one out and wanted to say that I'm digging it - nice clean sound, good punch, lovely little chops and edits as the track progresses. A bit sparse, but I that's the style and it sounds tight.
