Nice to see E-mu developing a new series of instruments. I haven't seen this one yet but I must say I'm not too impressed with this unit judging the stuff I've seen on the site. Especially the audio demos are very disappointing I think, very thin sounding and with very bad sounding effects... Also there's no sampling option which would make it much more interesting. And no trigger inputs for analog triggers Confused

I find this very strange and this leaves me with mixed feelings towards the future of E-mu... For me E-mu has always been a brand that made very good sounding equipment, their high end samplers sound gorgeous and very fat with a very good low end response (completely the opposite of how this sounds). I fear that now Creative Labs has bought E-mu they will make products like the sound blasters have always been... cheap and crappy sounding...

I could be wrong on this though, I should get my hands on one of these to check it out properly instead of relying on some demoes, but still... Frown
