lol. dude...go and listen to the bloody records.you might find a gem in there that no one else has....ok its not very likely..but it might broaden ya horizons........thats half the fun......if you cant be bothered to listen to some "real" instruments......go through some of your dylan and tech itch records.lots of james brown samples in them

yeah, i'd love it if you guys actually went and listened to funk, the origin of most elements of drum n' bass, instead of just ripping samples and being done with it, which is just so disrespectful. it's damn good music, and you have to understand it to learn the true art of sampling and be able to preserve everything right.
and james brown isnt the only guy who does funk you know...dig a little deeper.
