OK, I didn't feel like waiting anymore, so here it is
As you will probably hear, the samples are aimed a bit at the Dillinja style this time.
Rules, use only these samples, except for vocals. I didn't include any vocal samples, but feel free this time to add your own.
Tracks should be 4.30 max.
I think 3 weeks should be enough?
When your track is ready, just post a link here...
After the 3 weeks I'll put up a voting thread.

If anyone thinks something is missing or anything about the rules should change, feel free to tell me!

The sample pack is now also available from the main page!! I have also made a special page where all the entries for the compo can be uploaded. When I have some time later this week I will make a voting system in this page, provide Ogg Vorbis support and make a list of the uploaded entries. thechronic

If everyone thinks that way, although some compression and EQing shoud do the trick IMO, but for me it's OK. If you want to contribute some kick samples, feel free

i'm a lil against that idea.
a samplepack is given and there's still this thing with a very big world around it called sample-editing, which is imo also one of the main things to do when creating ...

Well it's back now, I'm terribly sorry for this, I forgot to increase the bandwidth limit from the default 5MB to 10MB...

I have been working at Groove City and didn't check the site the entire weekend, I hope it wasn't down for too long Frown

Anyway I have now made a special upload page for compos. This will be expanded into the ultimate compo machine where every producer can start new compos, upload sample packs, set rules etc.
The general (non-producer) users can listen to the uploaded tracks and vote on many factors such as song quality, production quality, danceability etc.

I will work on this later this week, now I have to go mix a blues legend in Leuven now Cool

k the bass rave and synth samples are nc
butt the beats s#ck. U can use filters and stuff butt u still got to start of with some good samples .
