We are back on track with a new edition of ASSAULT !
Thursday the 9th of March Leuven will burst once again ... We present you an all Belgian line up that will bring you bass all night long ! This time we prepare for MILLENNIUM KRU (Star Warz), DJ BAZ (Volume, Hydra), ADDICTED KRU (Res.) and FISH! vs BRAZE (AK family).
We're trying to keep the entrance fee as low as possible. Your budget will be damaged by 5 €. See you all on 09.03.2006 !

Bio's

Millennium Kru

Daviz is one of the 2 dj's from Millennium Kru, responsible for compilling the R&S drum&bass compilations "Fyzikal Encountas". In the past he produced 2 d'n'b records together with Outlander on the R&S label. In Ghent he works at the local Music Mania store.

187 is the other half of the dj duo. 187 created Fried Chicken Records Kortrijk & Ghent and is active with organising & promoting drum&bass events such as ' We Enter The Future ', 'Star Warz',and more.
He's also recently involved in the 'Goodluck -organisation'.Goodluck is running 'Eskimo Recordings', doing management of certain artists, promoting 'Diesel-U-Music Belgium' and more.

Daviz & One87 were already active for a long time in the music scene before they teamed up. Living drum'n'bass was and is the most normal thing for them
In the beginning of 1999, after the first Millennium Breakz party, the Millennium Kru got formed.
The Millennium Kru is a first class drum'n'bass soundsystem that plays high quality drum'n'bass of all styles ( From Bukem to Dillinja ). Their one & only purpose is to rock the crowd, no more, no less.
Shortly after it was formed, The Millennium Kru represented on almost every ( major / minor ) d'n'b event in Belgium like Pukkelpop, 10 Days Off, Dour, Millennium Breaks,Groove City, Beach Rock, City Parade, House Torhout, all "It's Like a Jungle" & Metalheadznights ( resident ), all Eskimo parties ( resident ) , all Kozzmozz parties ( resident ), Star Warz ( resident ) and much much more.
They frequently play in Holland and other countries as well.

Dj Baz

drum 'n' bass since 2001, and has appeared alongside many international artists. He also has his own drum 'n' bass radio show on Warm Fm and Equinoxe FM.

DJ Baz plays up front, bouncy drum 'n' bass with big influences coming from jump up jungle. He aims to get the crowd partying away in a positive vibe. Baz play all styles of D'n'b beacause: "DRUM' N 'BASS IS DRUM' N' BASS!".

He has resident (2002-2004) @ Chapelle Club and has played at many major Belgian events such as Bass Boogie at the Fuse, Festivibes festival , Star Warz, city parade, Electric Science Festival ,in France, Holland... He's appeared on line-ups alongside: Dylan(uk), Clipz(uk), Klute(uk), D Bridge(uk), Panacea(Ger), Rom 1(Fr), Baron(uk), System D(b), A-Sides(uk), brekbit(b), Hazard(uk), Pendulum(Aus), Fierce(uk), Ed Rush(uk) , Aley Cat(uk), Millennium Kru(b), Mark Xtc(uk),Wontime(b), Raiden and among others.

He now works together with System D on the Volume - large dnb events featuring international guests like EZ Rollers, Total Science and Distorted Minds. Now a part of Hydra, he will also be involved in promoting events in Brussels, Belgium.

Addicted Kru

Addicted kru is a collective of 2 well talented Dj’s. These Leuven / BXL based guys are the residents and organisers of the ASSAULT - nights. Their goal is to push the dnb scene in Leuven a bit further. They bring a colourful blend of drum n bass. Their set always differs nicely and doesn’t stop at the bounders of a sub genre. If it sounds great they‘ll bring it for you. These guys sure know how to work the decks and will serve the crowd a nice set every time. Don’t miss out on them!

Fish! vs Braze

Two members of the AK family who know each other pretty well and are on their way to become great dj’s. They’ve been playing a lot alongside each other, so expect a very descent warming up !! Come early because these guys won’t go unnoticed…

Zaal De Blauwe Kater ligt in het centrum van Leuven. De Hallengang vind je in de Naamsestraat recht tegenover de ingang van de universiteitshallen van de K.U.L.
Met de auto neem je op de Leuvense Ring aan de Naamsepoort de afslag richting centrum.
Je rijdt dan door de Naamsestraat tot aan de St Michielskerk. Je draait rechtsaf – vóór de Standaard Boekhandel – en komt dan op het Hogeschoolplein. Achter aan het plein draai je links en rij dan rechtdoor de Lakenweverstraat in. Deze komt uit op de Naamsestraat. Draai links en op 10m ligt aan uw linkerkant de Hallengang.

Parkeermogelijkheden : Op 50m : parkeerplaatsen Hogeschoolplein, op 200m parking Boerenbond (achter de Oude Markt), op 500m H.Hartparking, op 700m Parking Ladeuzeplein. Er is een laad- en losplaats in de Naamsestraat vóór de Hallengang
