really like the intro, voice sample is brilliant, good spacey reverb on it aswell, i like it... amzing quality but then it starts to get a bit too buzzy, i do like the bass line but it sounds like something my friend has on vynl that is slightly better than your tune so it puts me off a bit but overall fantastic, you can hear that alot of time went into this track

this one is alright.
dont really like the vocal samples that much, personal thing.
the pads are nice... drums are pretty bassic at first, but when the loop comes in they are better.
reece is alright, sub is nice, the riff is alright, nuthing special i think.
takes awhile to get into the swing of things. nice change up in basslines or synth dunno really.
not completely finished?

Music and vocal work together really wel. The buildup is nice too, especially when those agressive drums start kicking in. The pitchdown is cool too, but I'm not sure about the pitchup. Reece should sound a bit bigger imo. Layer the reece with itself a coulple of times to make it more dense and then add reverb. Drop is nice. Drums could use more punch though. Some switchups in the drums would be welcome, the music changes enough. Good work.

Very intriguing vocals, the opening is somewhat epic. Totally pulled me in and I'm diggin the dirty synth. This one builds up nice and heavy. Good use of the amen, whats the other break you're blending?
Man, wish it was longer, though. Well done track!

first off if youre talking about the very first vocals in this..youre full of shti about the copy writes cause theyre royalty free ahahahah.. but as for everything else.. i dont hav ea clue.. but the realm vocals are free bro...
lol old trance vocals... the realm...
i dunno how you choped them, but theyre clipping, or something else during this intro is...
iof you used a wav editor to chop them, remember to always chop on the 0 mark... or there will be those clippings..
the drums are a tad thin imo.. i want more beef...
drop isnt to powerfull... im liking waht youre doing with the basslines.. but again like a lot of other things im hearing on it..its been heard a billion times and way better... youre bass sounds very thin.. youre gonna want to beef it up... also you have those bass stabs in stereo...
(DRUMNBASS IS RECORDED IN MONO GUYS!)
so nothing needs to be in stereo perhaps maybe some hi hats... but nothing else...
and im not feelin the bass...
over all everything is pretty clean... but i dont see where it goes... like i said, this kind of track has been done a bunch of itmes before...and the hip hop breakdown thing has been done so many itmes now that its not fresh anymore...
good effort.. but not something ill have on repeat..

Easy mate, i respect your thoughts on my track but:
First of all i think this comment was intended for ym track entitled "Dark Business" not this track as this track "Losing To Time" has my girlfriend singing in it! She has worked with other artisit such a Roni Size, Clipz, FutureBound and John B.
As for "The Realm" vocals they are Royalty free... i know!! But unless you understand the business then you wont understand the copyright laws. My track, is copyrighted. Not the individual samples. that is a different copyright law! So for all you smart allecs out there stop commenting on it if you dont understand it. I have to put that shit on here because if i dont i will get a heavy fine from my record label.
Anyway, as for the Drums and stuff that you say are not "beefy" enough, well this is a very low quallity version of the track, no compression, EQ or Limiters have been layed over any parts of the track. I usually do this just before i make the Master copy to goto print. That way if anyone manages to get there hands on my track before its released it isnt as good as the one that is.
And for the Stereo bass thing!!!
ill let you into a little secret!!! All music that is cut to vinyl HAS to have frequencies below 180hz Mono, the bass that you think is panned is 200hz and above! if you listen there is a Sub bass and a High end bass.
The reason why frequencies below 180hz have to be mono is simple, the needle will just jump off the vinyl!!! This is only the case with frequencies below 180. So dont go around telling everyone that D'n'B is written in MONO because it isnt!
I have had alot of experience with writting Drum'n'Bass, [...]
Anyway thats enough said. Sorry to go off on one, but i hate it when people take the piss out of other peoples work when they really dont know what they are talking about!!!!
Thanks for your comments anyway surora, i have listened to some of your tunes and they are good, i look forward to hearing more.

Was going through some old tracks looking to discover some gems and I found this one
, I like it a lot, the vocals are really nice, I especially like the timing on them, really well done
Maybe it's a bit too late to review this one since it's already a year old, but here goes:
I don't like the random hihat pattern in the beginning, would be better to have just a simple straight pattern in there.
Musically it is wonderful, but the mix could use some more work:
The drums sound a bit muffled and mid-heavy. The kick could use a bit of punch too.
Overall the track is lacking in bass, there are some parts (eg 3:20 onwards) where the spectrum is very dominant in mids and high end.
The balance is nice, the vocals could be a touch louder for my taste.
From 2:13 onwards the track really starts building up, those dark saw pads are just gorgeous
Nice track overall, really enjoyed it!

the intro to this is great i really like the way the track makes you feel at first.
beats sound a little far back in the mix.
the amen has no really oomph to it.
i like the bass but the sample that comes in on the 2nd 16 after the drop is a bit too loud in the mix.
not a bad track but doesn't really grab my attention.
best parts are the intro and the little drop outs.
