Yo skeptik!
*checkin tune*
intro: vocal is cool, synths are ok, i dont really like em... vocal stops bit imidiatly. drums lack a little bit of power, but yeah, its intro stuff. 1:47: intro gets bit boring...
but now
DROP: hehe love this one, groovy shit, deep. high synth idont really like but it fits! love the bassline!! sick! 3:17: well done!
3:41: ROLLIN! nice
overall drums could be punchier i think!
but good work!
respect!

vocals in the intro are way dated and done.. but they work. you cutted them a bit harsh at times
drops: like it! mean, dark and rinsin'. very catchy bassline
maybe that bassline sounds a bit too squelchy and digital, but thats personal preference. nice thought out variations and the addition of the second reecy bass works its part well
beats could be heavier, esp. the kick needs to be more pumping
it's very good overall, a complete track. good one!

Wasn't feeling the intro either, then "BAM" killer drop, love the vocal sample..... nice bass (reece? still havent figured out exactly what a reece is. lol) overall a good tune, imo. just think ure beats could be a lil heavier, so as to compliment the sik ass bass. Overall heavvyness, bro. good work!

well someone once said to me to always remeber that your tune will only ever get played by a good DJ for 3min at the most!!!
Those 3Min arent the intro and they arent the end, they will be the breakdown, the drop, and 4-5 sequences after the drop!!! the rest doesn't matter!!!
The person who told me this has sold more than any other d'n'b prodcer and has run several record labels.
Something alot of early d'n'b producers make the mistake of doing is putting too much concentration into the parts of the tune that will hardly ever be played!
Anyway this isnt aimed at you, its something everyone should think about when writing any form of dance music. And to answer what you said, thats why the intro is so bland, because it will be mixed anyway!
Before i start a tune i always think about what the tunes going to be used for. A rave, An Album, Film etc. For an album id spend at lease a month on each tune, concentrating on each sequences of a tune getting them absolutly perfect. For a film id make loads of catchy breaks, suspence and pretty much drop the main part of the tune within the first min. For a Rave tune you need a long intro for the DJ a breakdown or at least a big suspence building drop and a few min worth of high energy sounds. The rest isn't as important.
Anyway i hope this gives alot of people something to think about when writing tunes, especially dance music.

Synth work is crazy on this track. Sounds like you're controlling both cutoff and LFO of your analog synth - how did you set that up? Some reaaally heavy patterns coming out of that. The overall mix sounds a bit quiet and drums a bit dry but that can be fixed - tune itself is deadly.
