Expieriancing some dropout on the drums when the bass hits... is this do some eq/filter problems?? im not sidechaing them together, so it shouldnt be happening..
any ideas would be appreciated... thanks

I think the chance is small, but if they're in the same frequency range, they could be canceling eachother out (=phase problem)

also called masking, where as a louder noise will drown out quieter noise in a relativly simular freq range. higher pitch noises drown out deeper usually.
but also it could be some compression coming from the speakers being driven to hard. specially if there having trouble pumping out the bass, it can sometimes steal energy fromt eh speakers and they cannot reproduce the high end as loud. |
this is also a possiblity as im still working off non pro speakers...
