cut the frequency, that u boosted on your kicks, in your eq on your bassline to free up some space around that frequency.

do you use a maximizer / limiter compression on the master channel? if you are that might be the cause. bass is probably hitting way over the maximum value that is set. try playing with no limiting and youll probably get clipping or in the best case the bass would overpower the beats. if thats the case you got several solutions

1) you can simply turn the bass down until it drowns no more

2) you can sidechain the drums (esp. the kick) to the bass (not vice-versa) to make it fall down in volume when the drums hit.

3) the hardest method but undoubtedly the best (since no compression is used), you must carefully eq the bass and the drums by choosing frequencies in each that don't clash with each other

I think the chance is small, but if they're in the same frequency range, they could be canceling eachother out (=phase problem)

also called masking, where as a louder noise will drown out quieter noise in a relativly simular freq range. higher pitch noises drown out deeper usually.

but also it could be some compression coming from the speakers being driven to hard. specially if there having trouble pumping out the bass, it can sometimes steal energy fromt eh speakers and they cannot reproduce the high end as loud.
