Please check out my new track 'Manhack (Original by Dave Akuma)' and post your comments here!!!
So, here's my remix of Dave's track
I tried enhancing the drums (which I found a bit muddy) and the bassline (which I found a bit messy sounding). Hope y'all like it! I kinda do, allthough my other track I'm working on a.t.m. is a bit better imo.
By the way, Dave, if you want this removed, just tell me, np...

allrite surya
intro is dark , oow nice stuff inhere ...intro is a bit short for my taste
no buildup ... mmhz
Drop is awesome !!
fuck thats nice ...maybe the sub can be a bit louder.
soundquality is top notch , wonder how you do that stuff ... do you work with fruity ? cubase i guess.
basspunches are verry deep ,
the only thing about this one is a main melody , cause there aint one...
never heard the original tho , the drums sound the way they should be , loud n clear.
yo breakdowns could be better , cause the ambie is right but there were no drums , not even some hats , and the following drop is unexpected , but maybe that was your intension
anyways , nice slammer

very nice work here mate
very tight drums, it all flows really good
I agree with greyone on the sub bassline being a bit low, I've heard the original though and I liked it better messy and dripping and all
it sounds great overall
maybe a little too clean but I like it rough

bout time you did some new stuff lol... dave is deff a good source of inspiration...
i liek the intro...
wasnt expecting that drop... wasnt digin it at first...
but after a listen or 2 i was deff diggin in...
some serious screamin high end...(maybe cut them bad boys at the end freq's there)
wicked drums..
lost of good variations, but the second drop sounds jsut like the first.. which snt bad... a lot of tech stuff is that way anyway...woulda liked to hear something a lil diff though...
i favor the original...but a wicked remix.. good stuff..

Hmmm, could be. I changed my setup recently, and it has less hi-end, so I wasn't sure...

loved the original!
definitally sounds cleaner
hard hitting shit for sure
drums almost sound too present in parts if thats possible??
nice change ups but seems too lose flow
love those HL2 samples
The clangy drums like on the first drop are too loud i reckon. The switches without em sound better.
not really much to keep it intersting
nice too see some new shit from ya though

This is some nice shit here man, the intro is pretty damn pro, nice sounds inthere aspecially that "sharp" sound, you know the one that sounds like a samurai-sword
, yeah you know what I mean ...
The build-up rules in this tune ... the bass comin' in sounds dark ...
Goddamn, that vocal sounds nice, but the "grind"voc spices it up like a bitch ... nice way to launch the shit, the vocals give the tune a Desertstorm-feeling, throw this in a breakcore tune and you got some nice shiiiiiiiiiit ...
...
The drums are so fucking aggri man, well done, you created some heavy shit here, and the drums are so nicely edited, allot of change in them to, and the two kinda drums fit together ...
and the build-up towards the outro is nice cause of the synth comin' back ... this tune just has a nice sphere ... some great samples and some nice sound-quality ... damn I wish I could eq like that
Very nice, and if you say your newest tune "coming soon" is better ...
well ...
PDJ
BTW, lots of respect for Dave Akuma, we mustn't forget, it's his baby

Totally agree on the sound,..flippin warm man!.....There is a tad High end goin on but it's tiny,...so a minor adjustment imo,...love how edgy your drum choppin sound's,..the beat get's carried to the brink everytime,..i love that shit!...Bass is pure chunk!...diggin 1:08 vocal, and 1:18...You filled all them stop's with some dam phat sound's man!....Great selection!.....maybe put a little filter touch on the 2:40 bass,<--that me wee idea
,..man this tune is pure insanity,..hangin on every swingin beat with some seriouse head smashin!.....phat-ass Surya,..phat-ass!!!,,,
-------{Edit}--->i meant 2:48 not 1:18,..there is no vocal at 1:18,....givin this beast another listen,..this be some hard shit!!

Nice atmosphere at the begginging of the track sounds very dark and that heavy bass hit just shits you up! Where the fuck did that break come from it really adds to the feel of the track especially with them eerie vocals, you definately know what your doing. The track really puts you into it and makes you feel alive, there is a lot of energy in this track definately brock out to this if it was spinning. You better be careful where this track is played man, you might get prosecuted for manslaughter. On a serious note the drums are spot on and those high end screams are pretty sick, this style isn't really my style, Being from England i'm more into the jumup style of things but this tune is growing on me as I write this review. Havnt heard the original, but i'm gona check it out. Overall well produced crisp sounding track, that's gona send any raver mad on the dancefloor. If it isn't banned that is!

Tnx man.
The drums:
- The first kit is one that Akuma gave me, layered with some extra snares and shit
- The second one, the tramen, is one from my library
Don't asky where they come from, I don't know...
