k I got two yamaha powered monitors running from a creative x-fi sound card...i may have just connected them wrong but there is no lows just alot of mid and highs.....to attach to my sound card i used a mono to stereo jack to the sound card..the lines to the monitors are 6 ft small jack- mono to intrtument stereo jack..the stereo jack has a mono adapter any sugestions

I don't know what your previous setup was, but if you used one with an amp or sub, you might be used to a setup with a boosted low end. In that case your monitors (which should be quite flat) will sound very mid. I acually don't like listening to a flat curve either, it's a bit too agressive on the ears.
