hehe, nice sax edits
0:16 - fuckin luv that bass sound, real fat n warm
nice to hear melody against the amens but i dont like the beatz
would like to hear a 2-step version of this imo..
on replay that bass sample is sooooo nice...
but imo once the beatz kick in it sounds .... like i've heard it before i think the jazz stabs to nicly edited are undermined by the beatz..
cant wait to hear the finished product mate
thanks

Tx for the reviews so far, I'm workin' on a smooth beach intro with some warm samples in it.
I'll keep in mind that the drums don't really fit into the atmosphere.. tx for the advice
Later PDJ

ok here it comes:
massive sub action going on inhere , its really feelable with my speakers , feels so warm , nice
Jazz touches are chill , not really my type of thing but still it sounds cool
drums are nice cutted aswel
, you learned that from baz or what ?
just some more high end in there and some layering with hats n rides for the variation
well id like to say ; add some more samples , an intro/outro , some effects here n there and a happy new year to you PDJ

Heheh tx for the nice comments Grey1
About my slicing ...
Baz was the first dude I knew who had a thing like Fruity Loops, I asked him if I could have it to just to joke around, but since then Baz allready told me allot about fruity and about slicing offcourse, so I've been experimenting allot with that fruity Slicer lately and I love it, I've been trying out allot of different breaks lately
... But I could still use some advice on eq-ing cause I know shit about that
So ... workin' on the rest, later ... J

cheerz dude
ain't got much to say for it's kinda short eh
anyways here's my advice first off eq-ur break a bit there's way to much mid freq's in it
second up is turnb up the sax a bit it get's overpowered by the bass(buzz gen i geuss
)
then last but not least change ur slicer offset a bit an try layering it with some other break(but i geuss i allready told u that
)
keep up the good work in 2006 dude

HI
Loving this tune it so different good work good love to hear more
the main good nice subbass nice beats the main tune maybe needs to be a little bitr lounder once the beats comes in , notsure. maybe try adding a few pads as well to fill it out as well and they can also an more feeling top the tune. maybe you should have rev sim leading in the bit just before the main beats comes in
good tune
Cant wait to hear more

Wicked vibe on the sax editing - funky shit. Nice fat bass - wasn't expecting an amen - which is a bit muffled sounding. Got something cool going on here - just need to blend the sounds a little better when you go back to this one. (thanks for your ears on that crap mix of my latest track - the new upload is better but still just a beat).

Tx Nosrac ... Don't be too harsh with yourself dude ... it's just me who doesn't like it ... wich doesn't mean it sucks for others ... it was just not my sort of style
Well, I don't think there's gonna be a finished version of sax on the beach .. all I have is a 2.05min song that isn't finished yet, and I re-installed my windows, so the fl-file is gone ... and I'm not so sad cause I had it with that saxophone shit
it was working on my nerves a lil' ... 2.05min is enough for me ..
But I will keep my attention to other stuff now, gonna try to focus on my own style of producing ... cause all I'm doing now is experimenting and making 1min songs
...
Tx for the comments

it's crazy but i started off doing songs like that too, with the free horn sample on the net.
the bass is nice.
i used a name like sax ont eh beach before too.
it's not bad, better to hear a full song though. needs more elements.

Wow!!! That bass! How did you make it? Reminds me of Who Jah bless - Studio 2. Pm me the detail please. Sound wise, not bad, but your mid range could do with an increase. The amen is nice, but I would drop the pitch down a touch and maybe smash it up a bit more. Not to keen on the sax, if it is a sax. I was expecting something more along a blues or jazz solo. Nice 1 brov
