Yeah, I hear the beatbattletheme. And I hear the 98-99 feel too.
Imo, you should make the sound less harsh after the drop. Make it full and warm, like Matrix would do.
Indeed a bit empty, but it's only a preview afterall. Keep on working on thisone!

yeah the warm and less harsh bass crossed my mind too, will try that, about the emptyness (maybe new title 
) it's pretty hard to add something...sounds to much mayhem...maybe drumz and vocals (with the warm bass)...

Well, to stay in the 98-99 DnB genre: just add a simple backgroundnoise or string (the same note all the time). Bring it in and remove it again to have variation
