Please give me download links to all of your favorite modulation effect vsts. Your modulating bass linez have me curious. Is it just de-tune and filter LFO or is there much more involved?

i tihnk there normally on-board effects with the synth, because to modulat ethe bassline you usulaly got to mess with the pulsewidth of the osc with a LOF.
detune could do it also i guess, but not as rich sounding.

The vst (when downloaded) is compressed into hqx format :S
How the heck do i extract that?
N then the demo only works for 10 dayz i guess.
I could use fruity envilope controler and link it to filters + a 0.1 time delay effect's mix level or some shiz... myeh..

I'll always go for reaktor for synth parts. It can sounds so fat its almost unreal. I brecently built a synth with a dual filter setup that can be run in either series or parralel. I also built an overdrive into the resonance section. Works so much better than a normal distortion, it really squeels when you crank the resonance up and roars if you crank the overdrive.
For nice modulation I love ringmods. They can do a lot more than just overtones. If you use them subtly you can get a really rich sounding reece type sound. And if you set the ringmod and the filter cutoff just right you can get some really cool talking synth sounds, sounds kinda like a formant filter but much thicker.

link a filter's cutoff to a peak controller lfo setting and then draw in some automation for the speed... for starters
