Please check out my new track 'Breeze' and post your comments here!!!

bare bones of a track here . . . gonna add some vocals and sweeps and stuff, vary the beat a bit more also. slow bpm, 170, just for the production meant to be played somewhat faster.

I know I haven't reviewed anything recently, but if you leave a comment i'll be sure to reciprocate.

a bit rigid beats in the intro

kick which enters sounds like its filtered

strings in the breakdown a bit cheesy

the gameboyish synth has got to go IMO.. the high one

I like the main lead sound, the lfo filtered, could be a bit louder, might even try a few octaves down to work as a bassline

you can do much more with that backgrond lead sound which accompanies the bassline. and I suggest you do so, right now its like a bare organ sample or something. bassline sound itself is in a bare form too

I like the atmospheric synth that kicks in at about 2nd minute

beats not rockin enough for my taste, don't like the choice for the snare, but I like those conga rolls (?) in the beat-ends

alright this got a bright uplifting mood altogether, with some changes made it could turn nice

good breakwork in the opening, the shots are punchy, those oscillating waves give it an industrial feel. gets too poppy as in mainstream though. predictable chord changes, with dnb i like minor chords more. the breakcombo you got is stuck though. no rolls, no fills, needs to be animated. needs a breakdown early on, and some more elements more the melodies. the downstep is a good idea, but the chord progression has gotten stale by that point. first thing you want to do is evolve the timbre of those synths. the jackhammer kick drum build up is too cliche for this one. the hats before the drop are clever, but pointless. think less VGM and more deep and dark. space out those efx and then you can add more... keep trying! &)

I like your break selection, it's cool just needs variations.

That one video game sounding sample is to low quality for the rest of the elements,..IMO

For the most part this is a chill tune.
That organ doesn't fit in..again my opinon.

Try to create more variation with your patterns.
The half time edits are tizight! you just need to twist out the double time parts alil more.

Also watch your build ups...make sure they flow well with the rest of the drum edits.

Cool Material Mang...
Can't wait to hear the finished product.

Interesting intro.

Nice flow. Repetitive tho, doesn't have enough synths for me.
Strings liven the atmosphere, but it's still the same thing over
and over again.

The slow break part is goood, saves it all. Bigup

The main line is still the same, don't hear any variety.. Frown
Anyways, nice work, looking forward to hear the full.

I liked it.
I liked it more then some of the "sellable" techno and trance id heard before. Expectations and strong emotions are tought to meet up with at drumnbass.be because there are so many bad assed nigz here making so many fine works.

I think he was right, sorry.
Maybe change the synth pitch and effects and volume to make it less noticable and more cool sounding.
Use a square shape for the synth then and chorus+reverb maybe?
Were talkin about the pitch sliding one aint we?

This song has a good mood and stuff but i suspect the drumnbass.be people think DnB should not sound this way?
7.3/10 (its possable to up that number though with some more work)

Did you make this in FL-Studio or what app?
broadside, maybe we can work on this one togeather more,
or make a remix of it if you want.
Send me a PM if we can do this.
Dan loves to be with his freinds, cya. Bigup

cool drums, they should vary more though. synths start sneaking in in a very nice way. I have a hard time deciding whether I like the main melody, or if I hate it. If I was drunk and dancing I would have loved it, that's for sure. Real nice hiphop part in the middle there.
Drum build-up at 4:19: hmmf...not so sure about that.

Overall the melodies work nicely and the drums are cool, but the track lacks power.
