96-97-98 all a blur. I do however remember Jungle.. I dont remember hearing DnB till 99 / 2000 at least not often

it was about 97 for me although i listened to some of the early original breaks/jungle/techno etc from 92 93 for a few yrs without really getting it....

got into drum&bass around the year 2000 - 2001, started spinning around 2002 - 2003, we just had 3 years payback to look back on, learned alot but still need to learn alot about dnb and not only on spinning level. So future looks good

summer of 2002, listening to a compil from switch (stubru) and then discovering that last track on the first cd, named Valve Sound
But i also remember listenig to some rave/hardcore/jungle radio at the age of six (or something alike), must've been around '94

Back in the day I was really into roni Size, Goldie and Photek. I had no idea that DJ mixed Jungle D'n'B existed. 
Then in '99 one of my brother's friends came over with his truck blasting A Soldier Story out of his system. I thought 'What the fuck is this??!!?? It's way too fast!'
But then in 2000 I heard The 6th Session and it blew my fucking mind meng!!! That's when I got hooked! Now i'm an insatiable d'n'b zombie!
LOL For a while I thought the Messiah and Tech Itch's Heavy Metal were one tune!

around '96 or '97 I think, it was summertime.. hooked on an Italian radio which played the entire Goldie - Timeless album, I taped it.. still have it. with the occasional "radio fragola, drumandbass in yo fuckin face" phrase with a heavy italian accent
wouldnt even know what music it was if it werent for the pesky radio-j though

i was already going to dreamscape events before 96' and collecting the rave tape packs, was there when jump-up was mainly jungle orientated with a heavy use of the amen break.
really took notice in 97' was turning 17 at the time and was discovering rave culture or what was left after the acid house scene.
good memories cant imagine hearing dnb for the first time from 2000 onwards, so glad i been fortunate enough to see the scene emerge and grow roots.

well my big sis was into it from day one, and i was born in london, so i always liked it. have had many a gap when ive given it a break for a while so hard to define a precise date . . . i used to hear early jungle from age eight or nine, so i think i can claim to be a veteran, though i dont know half as much about it as most dedicated new comers in all honesty

GQ must yell the title a good quadrizillion times on that mixtape, it's still subliminally carved in my memory
discogs says it was released in 94 but if I remember right my girlfriend brought it back from London at the beginning of the year or something so it must be 95
