Yeah i own an xp-30,.lol...i use it as my controller keyboard for my rack's,...the sound's with the xp-30 stink,...trust me,...i traded my old Roland D-10 for it year's ago,..thinkin it was the shit at the time,..a well,...roland certianly makes quality key's!,...And like any sound/sample,..you can make it what you want with enough mashin skillz,..im pretty shure "Dj Kemix" uses an "xp-30" in his productions?.....anyway some of the hip-hop drum kit's are sick with the xp-30 expansion,..ill give it that...but that's about it...imo.....cheers DJ Jimmy C!

and to the remix thing : i can understand your point of view , but compare with mozart 
...... i think remix compo are mostly samples giveaways for the hungry producers ( i mean , i also like to get good samples , no question , but it is a question how you get em ...) ....... remix compos can be fun , but i can understand if you make a hot tune , and you are really proud of it and the sounds you have created you don´t want give it away like a fart for free....
and the crappy remixes - sounds cocky - but is true ,..... (and maybe you are one of the few dnb.be posters who have "the permission to be cocky"...haha)
