Anyway, this idea was clearly ripped off from a Spanish movie called Intacto ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0220580/ ) where people run thru a forest blindfolded.
Also, the music seems quite pasted on to the visuals with little or no interaction between the two...

what i expierence is taht their tunes get immmensely hyped up, but not remembered for too long: slam & this remix were released not too long ago, but I rarely hear them getting played these days... Roll Eyes

Yup. Gotta agree. As soon as I heard it was a remix of voodoo people, this is exactly what I expected. Nothing special at all, just the catchy bit from a good tune, with a dull as fuck drum beat and a standard as you like bass line. Video is okay but doesnt have anything to do with the actual track. The original was so much better, both the track and the video. Honestly, Ive heard so many people hyping up pendulum but I really cant see what all the fuss is about.

Haha, I'm sorry.......but Pendulum is fucking talented. You can tell a lot of work went into this remix. And they're drum programming is phenomenal. I seriously doubt anyone here could make a better remix. Now, I'm not a big fan of pendulum, they use the same sounds over and over again and are getting a bit tired in my mind, but that doesn't change the fact that they are talented at what they do.

'Nuff said.

Video was cool, I fucking love the original song, and if someone can bring it back and make it faster and more up to date, then more power to them.

I disagree, I dont think the remix was that special at all, As I already said, its exactly wht I expected it to be, the main hook from the original with a standard DnB bass tone and some ok-ish drums. I think the king of remixes is Aphex because most of his remixes sound nothing like the original, apparently he was asked to do a remix for S-club 7 so he compressed the entire vocal track into a small noise which he used for the some of the drum sounds. Regardless to say it didnt get released. Youve got to check out his remix of 808 state's flow coma.

you guys also have to remember that pendulum is basically just rob... the other 2 guys do very minor production work, and the dj'ing... bu even Rob does most of that as well...

and as far as one guy doing most of the work...

although this is typical pendulum, ad nothing special... i a gree with spud and would be willing to bet not a single one of us have the skills to make anything better...

if youre so pressed on not liking this... then make abetter remix, a better video... and then say it sucks Big Grin
