Very scary
But the mix sounds small and slightly distant somehow ... what are you monitoring on?

Really like the intro mellody. The intro can come up a tad with slightly less reverb. For the snare do a 270 HZ cut to the lows and layer it with a slightly lower snare. Drums can use alot of EQ and adjusting. For the kick set the vol. at neg -6 dec and build you sounds around it, if you start to smother it, lover the volume and then on your EQ adjust the mid range to rise above the lows that are taking it out. That will help you get the punch it needs. After you finish the entire track do a 25 HZ cut to the entire track to clean the low end and mud at the bottom, but only after you are done with everything.
I read the comment about the monitors, as soon as you get some decent ones you'll shit your pants at the inprovment your production, just make sure you get a sub at the same time that it has a splitter so you can adjust the cut off. Cheers Z

like the atmosphere...
??? not feelin the drums at all, ?? what follows is too loud imo
this dont sound too good i'm afraid, not saying you havent put effort in but it sounds like an old fruityloops demo gone wrong..
remember this place isnt about biggin eachother up its about taking somethin away you can learn from, its normally the bad comments that you remember and some can actually benefit your abilities.
drums--too quiet jus loads of snares put some more percussion in all i can hear is one hi hat
synth--too loud at parts too much reverb not enough high frequencies in there bro
bass-- jus not enough of it.
if you hear my tunes you'll see i also struggle with these issues but you dont need to be able to produce good tunes to be a ble to know what sound good and what sounds bad.
keep progressing and being yourself mate

I love the intro atmosphere. It takes its time and lets things develop, which is nice.
The stabs after the drums are waaaaay tooo loud.
I could definately use the drums to be up more in the mix, they feel relatively powerless to me.
Some of the snares just dont feel like they should be there, maybe check the patterns for slightly off hits.
I like how glitchy and dark this is, like the drum programming isnt what i'm normally into. I would definately chop the drums more, maybe really tight gates with quick attacks and releases or somethin on them to make em wierder. If you're gonna go weird, Go wierd ya know?
This song is completely atmosphere based, theres not much in the way of melody, So its important that everything really fit together.
I'm diggin the vocal sample. I'd maybe try and use it earlier in the song. Your breakdown doesn't really seem to make sense since we've never heard those jazzy drums before in the song. So maybe introduce them earlier, so then when they come back, its a welcome thing, not so jarring or unexpected. I dig the tweaking you've done on those jazz drums though.
Overall, I think this has a lot of potential, you could just use to focus on overall eqing, mixing and arranging.
Keep at it!

Like this tune its hard fast and v-scary. I like the way u put the vocals in near the end makes the tune and the drums after the first bit of vocals and on the break. the drums all the way through tho aint nothin special at all just fast snares by the sound of it not really any composure in them. well not that you can tell. it is a bit too fast for the drum loop. A useful site i was given the addy to it sums upp all your eq'ing m8. I'm havin a lot of trouble with mastering . http://www.producer-network.de/forum/vie...hlight=frequenz

Thanks for the link jfuzion, it was helpful. I've been working more on it and it's starting to sound better I think. If anyone else has comments on sound or melody or whatever, just keep it coming.

Damn I shoul've checked this before Urukai Munk cause this is still with the "home made" drums
Ok the sounds and the sphere in the intro are cool ... sounds movie-like ...
The drums drop ... but not good enough for me, sound a lil' soft and too "funky" ... As soon as the creepy melody starts the drums should've been heavier ... but they just keep doin' the same thing wich fucks up the sphere a bit, and it's like this till the end
Ok, not your best and not my favourit, but hey ... they can't all be good huh!
Laterzzz...
