Hi,

I have recently found this one http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/page/shop/flypage/product_id/6918. It is a analog synth from Novation, and I also saw this one http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/page/shop/flypage/product_id/3014. I am very interested if this two things, so MIDI Controller and this analog synth could be both connected, so I could synthesize sth on Novation, and through keyboard Input hear the sound from my computer (for example on FL). Is it possible or not?

For u guys it could be silly question but for me it truly isn't.
Thanks in advance for any help. Smile

It's possible.
Set your midi inputs/outputs so that you can trigger sounds from both novation and/or pc with the masterkeyboard.
You're gonna havre to wade a bit thru some midi-settings and stuff, but once it's done, it's lift-off.

shure it's possible, hook up your master keyboard with your pc, prefferably with a few channels, (i use 1-4 on my masterkeyboard). see that this works and you can control your vst's .see that your midi input channels are correct for each track, also see that there aren't any midi-filters switched on and that you sequencer records every kind of midi message.

now, it's simple, connect your midi out to the novation and set the output of the track to the correct midi-channel (the input channel of the novation) now connect your audio out from the novation to the in from your pc eh voila,

you should try your connections first with only a single channel from your keyboard no need to make it complicated in the beginning . read a bit about midi and see it as a friend. than all will be well.

Yeah dude, you shouldnt have any worries at all. But just so you know so that your not under any false impresions. Its a virtual Analogue synth, meaning its not actually got real oscilators and filters etc, but digital recreations of the real thing. Its good because you wont get any of the tuning instability and weight issues accociated with true analogue, but it wont sound as warm as the real thing either. Still what Ive heard of Novation stuff sounded good and at that price it cant be bad at all.

Good luck.

Thanks TechDiff. Anyway, you forced me to do the following offtopic Smile : Is there any true Analog (Bass) Synth (could be without Keys) for approximately 250euros?

Radium has 49 keys, and 500 is more than 350 or sth. Smile
