Please check out my new track 'Liquid' and post your comments here!!!
Made in Reason 2.5, bounced to 8 tracks in Cubase SX, no compression, tried to focus on eq'ing (again, sigh..)
Vocals are from old samplecd (don't ask me which, still got a copy with some wav's i selected and kept)

the bass is deep .. and who says you cant make god tracks in reason ..
man how many times have i heard that vocal sample.. nice one ..
i like the drums they are tight and hit well.. did you use redrum for this or was it resampled rexs?
sounds like some full cycle stuff.. very basic tune but it hits well.

Quite decent tune, but the sound is petty thin. Yeah, I know, EQing isn't easy...

verry "killahertz" like sound in this one
but... i have too agree on surya that the sound ain't all that
for ex. i hear there should be quite a fat sub in this track but i can't manage to hear it before 4:35 ...fix it
keep working on it

Oink?
It's the same sub from the very beginning till the very end, there's nothing extra coming in at 4:35... strange. What do you mean exactly?

nice sounding intro , drums are wicked , sub is warm sounding , .
breakdown/buildup could be more exiting.
drop ist that spectacular because of the eqing of bass. (flangerd distorted sub i guess)
sounds fitting together verry wel.
filterd bass effect doesnt go well , i should if it was some louder/eqed.
vocals are cool inhere , nice liquid.
As the sub is nice like i told , there should be a phat mid involved .
the main bassline is a bit on the background , dunno why , maybe too much compression of the sub .
Outro's a bit thin.
i liked it

ok sound balance the only thing I can think to improve, would be to make changes dynamically, for example considering the grove that starts at 01:18, I would not be able to resist creating a very short moment of complete silence (just perceptible) at the very end of the bar, in order to accentuate the power of the first beat of the following bar or loop, I have heard this done with Hip Hop where they are raping over a single loop that runs out slightly before it is re-triggered; what you have at 01:18 is just suited to this effect. I wouldn’t do this right though the track but for short spells. I think Id try to add some sort of effect now and again to the main snare now and again.

Like the vocal intro, the sub sounds like it can come up a tad, it's a bit distant. Like the drumz as always, dig the build FX. Like the congo pecussion that was added at 2:45 filled in the empthy space well. This track is a bit thin, but I like the extra space, it shows EQ is good and it's easier to mix... Well for me it is... A few of the synths and bass can come up and that's all I can hear. Z 10/10

quite a ruff rythym set against the lush vocal and synth..
good accented hit in the middle of intero break
sub works well, variation on the 16th rolls
drop is very weak , would layer drums more imo
like the melody could be so much mor fat n grimey but maybe that wasnt the intention
2:14 an i'm still interested...
good variation on synth at 2:23, kind of needed
track is solid structure and melody wise but dem drums are to weak even for the style, needs more body to it in general imo
thanks for the listen bro

are the yeah yeah's not quite in the same key with the bass? it seems a little weird, mabye its just not what i was expecting... Atmosphere is nice, I like those pad sounds a lot.
The drums are not consistent with the fills as far as volume goes before the drop.
I love the snare sound btw, nice and slappy.
This track grooves, I can definately hear this being spun out, Its not too busy of a mix, so accapellas would sit super comfy on top.
I love a good jungly conga, nicely done.
Theres some really subtle stuff going on in the background in this tune. I think that's what i'm digging the most, is that you're not beating us over the head going "look at how cool this trick is" but more of a comfortable assurance that your shit is solid.
Nice track man. I'm into it.

Poor choice of vocal - definately off a sample cd, I've heard it before so I am sure other producers will have.
The beats and bass are okay though.
Main bass sound - not really deep enough and it doesn't quite blend with the drums that well. It doesn't 'sit' right if you know what I mean.
The bass isn't far off in terms of sound but lacks a bit of polish.
I reckon you need to work on the structure more - builing up / down, intros, that sort of thing. It's sort of one one level at the moment.
Bongos are the right type of thing to put in bu tthat bongo sample is over used and a bit predictable.
Some decent drum rolls / breaks in there.

Not to keen on the vocals but they are treated very well with the delay and reverb - love the classic "...so good" sample. Track sounds a bit quiet but really tight. Really spot on synth sound placed really nice just in behind the sub. Some damn cool sounds going on with nice filter work - love when the bongos come in - totally fills the track up! Damn nice track as usual Soi - outstanding synth tones, just a bit more drive and volume perhaps.

that you make me feel so good sample, oh man, that's old skool.
i remember that from a music program called New Beat: Trancemission
i should rip th e samples.
they had to be in denominations of seconds to be used. meaning all the music was 120BPM
anyways... nice drumz. you set it apart with nice edits on the 4.
it got me rocking
but yea, gets repeative. not enough punch int he drums. there thin. cut nicly, but need some body. the bongos helpped taht but only for taht portion.
gives nice bass because theres nothing sucking the power out of them. there's some really high pitch whine int here that isn't nice, it makes my eyes water. usually after the YEah Yeah YEahs int he start. might be the delays.
you could use a nice liquid pad to fill in the mids for the pre-drop.
yea that vocals are definatly getting some high 20-22k tingle, glad to know i cans till hear that. doubt most clubbers can.
the same drum loops over and over again, my god, can you not program something else? you can use the same drums, just differetn swing to chagne it up between drops, usually works. i tihnk you added a few ghost snares ... but bah, nothing dramtic.
so first, cut above 20k on the vocals i tihnk, there's a lot of high end garbage in this track, if you got any eq's that are pumping the high end up dramticly, get your hearing tested and turn them down a bit.
if not than reduce the high end, a bit.
afte rlistning to that track twice, i had to turn it off, it really wears the ears down. that's not good. the tinny drums and tinny vocals are too much.
other than that, change up the drums.
it's a solid song, i like evrything else, the basslines, the little play within the differetn basslines, makes a fucking amazing groove. good work.
