You got any information on that pack? The only thing I can find on the numark website seems to be the battlepack v4. If you have a tight budget and just want to listen to your records, I think it would be wiser to invest in one good TT, like a technics or OEM, you certainly can get a good second-hand one for your budget. Later you can buy a mixer and another deck.
A quality combo for a reasonable price I already advised to some people is 2 Sync-XTRM1 (365.7€ @ www.musicmakerpricebreaker.com ) (other OEM tables are just the same, so if you find a cheaper one go for it!) and the vestax VMC 004 (286.85€ @ www.musicstore.com ). toghether that would be 1018,27€ or about 680£. I know that's way over your budget, but it's good quality for a reasonable price

yeah the timings hectic, i might get back into my zone and produce more.
although all i really want is to mix tunes in my home i would be gutted if that simple pleasure was ruined by poor sound quality.
djfremc's right in saying that i will eventually want to upgrade probably sooner than later than you're stuck with old obsolete gear.
thanks for the opinions fellow soldiers.
i'm gonna give it some serious thought now..
Laterz!

The quality of the mixer is quite bad, but money is sooooooooooo tight right now and i cant wait another month till i can mix my tunes.
jus want to know if anyone here would strongly advise againts using tem
if there was a problem, wot was it.
a cheap price speaks volumes but i've played on some mates's really shit decks and still been able to enjoy it.
oh yeah i founs out about the offer when buying viynl at

thats the same pack i got i think...
ive had mine about a yr and i learnt on these... they are very good for the price i think... they ant like technics, but when u jump on some technics your mixing is tight. I can mix heaps well on my numark tt1625's, took some practice, but now i got my mixing down pat.
i reckon if u want some turntables n u gots low moneys u should buy these. you may come across some second hand technics around the same price though. but yeah they arnt bad for what ur paying.

I used to have a dm900 & that wasn't a bad little mixer at all - no eq just gain & level faders. Its actually amazing how much of a good sounding mix you can do with just gain controls. The 950 has eq so it should be pretty good.
Ive been using TTX1s for a while now & they are sweet as you like. Much easier to mix with than 1210s imo. Although they are higher up the line than the tt1625 they're still gonna be the same quality & the same style, just probably wont have as much torque.
Ive been using a full numark setup for a while now (I upgraded to DXM06 mixer about a year ago) & I personally wouldnt go back to a technics setup.

Apart from the TTX's (which i own myself) i wouldn't buy anything from Numark. Don't get me wrong i like the TTX but Numark has a bad reputation for shit braking down which i witnessed myself first hand with one of my own turntables.

Mixer you get with the battlepack is a sack of shit mate......the decks themselves are ok, bulky but resonably good mixing quality, the only trouble my friend had with them is that youd get a tinny sound when a track wasnt playing but the deck was on.....if that makes sense, it sounded like when you put a mic next to a speaker and you get feedback off it......evillllllllll sound
anyway that might of just been a dodgy set of decks...
i hear KAM decks are pretty reliable from a friend, im using numark TT-1520's at the moment and they do the job pretty nicely alonside a geminiFX-2000
have a shop about though, theres alot of decent deals out there
