Alright dude, hows it going. Was waiting for this to load up. Gave me a jump when it started. Some nice drum edits in here, a couple of dodgy ones to. What is that synth line? Fucking random dude! Pretty cool though. Sounds a lot better when the 909 kicks come in, more of that section would be nice. There are some really cool things in here, but there are a few places where evrything is crossing overe a little to much and you start to lose any clarity of the different sections. The track is much more cohesive than some of your others, which is definately an improvement. I think some of the sounds in here are a little too distorted and loose their impact quite a lot, and it doesnt sound like youve EQ'd much so the fuzz from the distortion seems to blur everything else because its using a massive Frequency spectrum. Try taking off the high frequencies with an EQ and this might clear things up a bit. Also with a bit of careful EQing I think you'd be able to fit some bassier synth lines in there, which is one thing I think is deffinately missing. Some cool drum edits in here though, just be careful with the kick rushes as they are very messy. You should try and use only very short hits for these, otherwise the speaker cones will not have time to rebound between hits and the reasult is the farty sound youre getting at the moment, youll be able to sort this out if you adjust the volume enelope in the slicer window. Take the release, sustain, decay, and attack right down, but leave the hold were it is. This means that theenvelope will be at its loudest as soon as the hit starts, but as soon as the note in the piano roll finishes, so will the sound, you wont get the annoying tail off. The other thing is that you should be careful about using triplets or silences in your drums. Theyre cool but if you use them too much, the listener will begin to loose their way through the track. There is some cool ideas in this track, I think with some EQing they would come through a little better and make this a little more listener freindly.
