Fuse:
We have lots of questions which we like you to answer. We picked out the best (and left out the worst) since there were so many of them.
Heh, thanks, Fuse, for leaving out the worst! I am occasionally alerted to some horrifying legends and speculations about myself on forums all over the world, so I'll begin by countering several theories I have seen out there, which you were (fortunately) too polite to ask about!
No, my site is NOT an April Fool's joke!
No, I'm not rich! But I have been fortunate and careful with money, and there are many things I have avoided spending money for in order to develop my studio and build my dream house.
No, I'm not a man! (Believe it or not, I've seen that one several places -- it's a silly reflection on humanity, in several ways.)
No, I'm not Bob Moog's girlfriend! (I hope that one makes Bob laugh, too!)
No, I didn't acquire someone else's gear--it's all mine.
The much-maligned blue Viscount OB12 sits in the middle of my studio because it's quirky, it's flashy, and I'm not sure where it belongs. It's like me!
Do NOT annoy the Pterrible Pterodactyl of RedMoon with foolish theories! Her memory is long and she is eeeeevil! :-)

I don't mind having all them synthesizers, even if they're not much of a use.

lets see what we've got here - this is a just a quick scan of what I can see:
Virus Indigo
Alesis Andromeda
Alesis Quadrasynth
alesis ion
Novation k-station
novation bassstation
korg wavestation
korg ms2000
2 x virus b
electribe ea1
electribe em1
roland mc505
oberheim ob12
minimoog voyager
5 x waldorf pulse
waldorf Q
yamaha an1x
2 x nord modular
2 x nord lead
korg prophecy

Fuck it, if I had the money Id have a mass collection of synths, although I'd probably have more modular stuff rather then several of the same thing. To be fair though, all analogue synths have their own specific sounds, its the same as any instrument. A friend and I both have the same model of guitar, except his plays like a dog and mine plays like a dream, they sound completely different aswell. I think that if you had the money to do so, buying 2 of the same synth would be more than justified if they had different tonal qualities. That said, why you'd want to have more than one of a digital synth is beyond me, unless you where planning to layer them shitloads but there are cheeper ways of doing it.
I deffinately wouldnt mind a custom Big Briar vogager. No chance of that though. RIP Bob Moog.

I quite agree with you, it just seems a little excessive. if I had that kind of money, synthwise id probably get a big modular & then maybe five or six high end synths. I really dont think you could realise the potential of all the gear she's got unless really you have a lot of time on your hands. Id rather have a few & learn them fully - thats really the only way you'll get the best out of them.
I bet a lot of that gear sits there unused.....
