Style: jump-up, quirkstep

Silly title aside - and I know some of you looked at this thread for that alone - this here tune aims for the dancefloor like most of my other works, but it flaunts a little thing that I like to call "quirk." A sense of humour, if you will.

Critical feedback is appreciated and welcomed.

Mario-style. The bass is a bit ugly sounding, but that just makes it funnier. I wouldn't dance on this
one tho, I'd want to hear this one when playing Nintendo or smth. Sweet one, cheers me up. Nice

The part with plain breaks is a bit weak. The 4:00+ slowdown is a cool one. Really feeling the tune. The
ending could use some changes. Anyways, lovin it Smile

Someone else said this reminded them of a fairground. I see where he's coming from, and I kinda thought I'd get accused of making clownstep. Then I said, "To heck with it, let me put the tune out and see what happens." Big Grin

It's also funny that you mention Super Mario...my last tune, "Depth Threats," made people think of Mega Man. I'm gonna have to investigate and see what the fuss is about.

This kind of reminds me of Towa Tei or japanese alternative pop in general, only with more drums. Pretty cool, I like it. Love the melodies here, silly, but absolutely beatiful. FX are cool as well, there could easily have been more of them without them getting tired. You should make a video to this one, an animation perhaps or people in animal costumes, dancing.

Only thing is I'd work a little on the ooh-sound since there is so much of it, towards the end when the melodies are even more varied it sounds just a tad too artificial. It's not a big deal though the melodies more than make up for it, they're great.

This is a little too wierd for me to really get into.
I definately get a video game vibe here... maybe the newest mario kart could use this....
I do like the bass line and drums, although I could use a little more variety in the drums.
I'd bring the drums up more in the mix, they're kind of a little more hidden than i like.

This is a really experimental tune, I give you props for that, I'm definately a fan of pushing the envelope a little bit, and you do that here. You're not pushing in a direction I particuarly care for, but that doesn't mean its a bad one.
