a bit to much high ends for me, but that's personal, i listened on some crappy pc-setup so take this with a grain of salt .entrance of the bongo's and those bells in the last minute or so where great i really liked them , i also liked the overall vibe, but on some points i would change the structure of the song, maybe pull a few bars out around 1.20 or so, just before the bongo's come in,and indeed maybe some vocal bits could spice it up even more . i ain't gonna say alot about the bass coz i can't really hear any on this pc-crap speaker, when i got the chance later i'll listen again on a better ss.

Starts off nicely.
Expected for something dark to go down.
Very atmospheric tho.
Nicely done, liking it. Can't put my finger on anything production-related tho - sounds like quality work.
Overall: nice one. Peace.

Very nice sounding production - much more destint snare and kick than usual and a groovy feel to the over all beat. Don't really like the double snare hits at the end of some of the bars (like at 2:30). Love when the melodic sub comes in - another great bassline (like your last track) - very well, for lack of a better word - lovely sounding
. Backing melodies are mixed really nicely and atmos fit perfectly. Very nice track and fully professional sound - just keep crankin' em out like this and you're sure to get attention - people who like this style will like this a lot.

really nice atmosphere.
i cant hear much bass
i enjoyed the breakdown at 3 min.
the beat is a bit too simple for me. it would be nice to hear it switch up a bit more.
overall it sound sweet so far
nice one

Gorgeous!
This is Drum n Bass!
This is like a container that is always over-flowing...
With no source of input, simply something that generates or springs forth....like the birth of a living entity....
Elements of different varieties...Wind element deffently present..
Strings add liquid to the track, in other words, they give the track flowing life...all the elements of the song flow from it's source...
Like a fountain of audioable energy....
A refreshment to the senses...
This track is one of those tracks you keep in your collection...
reminds me of when drum n bass was coming up hard!
Underground..this is truely a dnb classic....
All ready one of my all time favorites...after one listen...
thats all it takes...
You poured your love and soul in this one...
That's what I'm listening to...
Your mind in audio format...
Your imagination is being expresed here...
10/10

Costy,, i must have missed this one thankx for letting me know,,
Intro,, is perfect,, atmopheres sound awsome.
The drum pattern is really good, is got a nice groove to it. Could use some more kik. snare sounds good, That conga u put in is a nice little touch.
Bassline fits this song. Good choice. I think it needs to be mixed in a little louder. Like stick said
Well put together track. Everything fits very nicelys.
Much respect

Man this track's a trip!,..just smoked a fatty and gave it another listen,.. nice one Funke1,
....hope you took a nice break from this and are ready to start workin on it again,.. if you haven't allready...hell id like to remix it if possible....anyway as Kemix put it,.."classic D&B".....Bongo's stop to abruptly-->2:08,..maybe bring them back right after a couple of times.......{2:51--->takes away from the track,...to empty, and ruin's the deep rollin vibe,....seems to start flowin again when you bnng the tropical soundin hit's back in at-->3:55,... nice job on bringin all the element's back,...so maybe work on the empty soundin part i noted at-->2:51,...this is a solid track man,...cheers....

All that is needed in my opinion, is a female vocal. The subs could come up a bit. This track is seamless! very clean. Maybe have the steel drums come up in volume and take the lead. the atmosphere/soft synth string things, is the lead mostly. dope shit! props

Sorry been busy, just checked in (after 2 months)
Thanks for all the positive feed back. The idea was to get away from the Amen sound, hard in your face sort of tracks, and make a more ambient feel.... like just chill'n on the beach with a nice smooth groove, glad to see a postive response to the bongo/congo layers. (next track will be a more in your face, amen sounding deal... working on it at the moment, stay tuned)
Again, thank you to those who took the time to write a review, it's very much appreciated and your comments and suggestions will be taken into consideration when this tune is re-visited..... some time in the future.
Until then......................
