Cool intro, the drums coming in on the right channels should maybe be a little more to the center, sounds intrusive on headphones. Strings are very nice, I'd have less reverb on them, they have a very nice natural sound. Maybe a little less reverb in general, some details get a little muddy.

Drums at 2:17 are AWESOME bassline is AWESOME.
Maybe a little much high-end, I was listening to this at a ridiculously loud volume the second time around, and it hurt a little.

Have you been producing hiphop? Sure sounds like it. (coming from me, that's a compliment, in case you wondered)

Vocals sample are simply fantastic throughout.

You should post more stuff here, I loved this, hit me right in the heart.

This is what you call a composition.
Real life music, Very well produced.
Structures blend together in a very clean way as far as the intro.

You can here lots of layering in this choone.
Intersting...what tempo is this set at?

randomness pasted together...
sounds like Dj Shadow meets Machine Breaks...

hip-hop formulas mixed with a random robotic break loops.

Click and Drag tune?
What programs did you use?
I here the panning, interesting.

Very Abstract and different! Nice.

Sweeeeet man we got some talents around here lately!!!
It's a great intro, great tune, lovely put together. Dif elemets don't mess with each other at all Bigup
Not really fond of the 2:17 beat but it fits there. The 3:25 part is the only weak part of the track imo
because of the bassline is too open, goes a little solo. The abrupt ending is okay, though a little
fadeout would sound better for me.

Overall you've got a great taste in music, putting solid compositions together, what is a really rare
thing when some has a talent in composing too. Take this as a VERY BIG compliment and don't
waste yourself. It's great to hear music that is SIMPLE, not screwed up by theory. And who said classics
don't rule?

Cheers Bigup

P.S> what sequencer do you use? Smile

wow, so many kind words, and helpful ones at that. thank you!
I made this on Live 5.0 and Reason.
Tempo is set at 84 so it feels at 168.
I definately come from a hip hop background when it comes to composing electronic music. Its funny Force mentioned DJ shadow, cause I'm currently working on a Shadow meets chemical bros type project called Long Distance Runner with a friend. (ldr myspace will be up soon)
Again thanks to tthose who have commented, I look forward to more suggestions and comments from everyone else!

The first thing that hits me is the drums.......theres plently of thought in the unique rolls, got an electronic sound but the compression makes it sound far more dirty and industrial.
The orchestral syth is a phat build up with the little drum licks at the end of the bar.......it just dropped Shocked . Complete mashup!
Feelin this, very unique sound and the samples keep it interesting.
Is it finished tho? seems to finish a bit early.
Nice one Bigup

Very cool intro, love the orchestra samples, and great drum roll, very nice breaks and vocal touches.

Intro mabey a little long, although worth waiting for the drop, very nice and creative drum hits. Would bring the orchestral hits a little further into the forfront of the tune, but minor detail. Would insert a little breakdown around 3:25 just before you change up the drum pattern further (Although just personal style).

Really interesting track, you loose me a little in the second half, but really nice overall. Great work, look forward to hearing further tunes!

listening now, intro is nice n clean, soundin very musical, i agree with the post earlier that this sounds hip hop-ish but i dig that so all good,

vocals fit nice with the track
and the drop is sickkk, its the breaks that make it sound so powerful, i think there should be a more overpowerin reece altho thats my opinion,

good track overall
keep em comin

nice tasty stuff although Im not into mixing classical stuff, but it works here

right-hand speaker conga roll could be chopped up and pleced better, its a little out of sync now

drops: nice energetic sort of shizzle

heavy drums enter: breakdown after the drop is a bit messy, maybe overreverbated, soundchoice for the drum kit could be better. there is a little exageration with shakers too

uhh, too much vocal use, gets a bit boring after a while

nice edits come, cool ideas, some are offbeat..

this is not finished, it can be cleaned up a bit (overuse of reverb, offbeat hits etc.) but I like how it's shaping up. finish it Tongue
