Please check out my new track 'RiG' and post your comments here!!!

Small thin,: most of the good stuff I'm doing at the moment involves copyright accapellas so I dont get to post the here.
This is basically the result of getting guitar rig, not that I'm a big fan of guitars in DnB - but give it a go. Cheep, cheerful.

Needs some high frequencies! The beat sounds like it's somewhere behind the wall; too slidy sometimes
too. Almost can't hear the snare. You composed it in headphones, no? Overall it's nice, but I'd add a little
more complexity and sharpness. Cheers Bigup

indeed, it misses some highs and some ruffness, especially on the beats and guitar imo, bassline i like , maybe spice it up a little after the break go a bit fo'some old dilli style or something like that, and the guitarstringthing please fuck it up completley, it sounds like a crappy amp-emulator; double it ,make a clean and a way to rough version and put them both in ,and i would do the same with your beats,
overall structure is nice and the melodies are good to .but it could use some grease on certain places ; especially when it drops it comes short, i like the first drop whith that guitar thing but the beats don't push me far enough.

This sound very mechanical.
The Guitar Eefects are from the 80's
And the guitar riff makes your track sound like
you made this on a casio or something....

Very tinkerish sounding...it's that straight hat....
the high hat does not shift from it's 4 beats per bar.
in the main mover....

Try messing with your hi-hat patterns more....that might help..
I like the way the bass shifts...

Guitar is tricky.....Big Ups!! very diverse choone!
Can't wait for the next one!!! DJ

Vocals make a big difference...they can bring all the elements together...
Then this would be a proper review.......

sorry man, cheesy guitar sound playing a cheesy riff, the rest is allright though, but the guitar just ruined it. The organ is cool though, so is bass and drums and synths.

Guitar amp sims are in general good for anything BUT guitar-like things, that's my opinion anyway.

Sorry if I'm hard on you, but I love good guitars and really really hate crappy guitars.

Listening now man!!
Do you mix your beats in mono or stereo?
I would stick em all in mono if i were you as your snare is more right sided than the left and also beats sound a lot more punchy an full if in mono. (If you think about it like this, all sound systems are in mono so stereo just loses power through being re-mono-ised when fed through the system, Noisia due most of their tracks in mostly mono for this reason.)
I like the synths an the guitar is not really that cheesy, it fits in tone with the rest of the elements well. The little beepy noise gets on my tits a bit, just needs some automation on the filters an stuff to give it some diversity.
I would say that the beat is my main concern on this one, needs more eq at about 500hz-700hz on the snare, more eq at about 50hz-100hz on the sub and bring out the highs in your hi hats etc by cutting everything below 3000hz or above. It will define the beat in its own little pocket more then.
CONCEPT 4/5
MIXDOWN 2.5/5
DANCEABILITY 2/5 (as it is) 4/5 with some work!!

How did you render this? It sounds like there's an EQ on the master that's killing off the high end. Makes me feel like I've got an earwax overload.

In my opinion the slide effects on the guitar make it sounds less like a real guitar. I'm not a real big fan of Guitar Rig myself, personally I prefer the Vogeno packs and the JCM900 vst that's around out there.

I liked the little bell thing, which is an unexpected thing from me really. I'm not usually a fan of simple and, as you said, thin type stuff. Maybe I get too complicated, who knows ;]

I also think it could've benefited from more DnBesque drum patterns than the straight up rock patterns.

I feel that any issues I have from how the track sounds could be solved by upping the high end back or what ever is up with the sound on that ;] maybe the mp3 got coded weird? i dont know ;]
