Bio from DJ Fu:
I'm 23, i live in oxford i moved here 3 years ago to study business studies and religious studies at oxford brookes. Apart from being a student i am a hip hop and drum and bass dj. I have nine residencies at various hip hop/dnb and club nights in oxford: Source (timeless recs), Beats n Rhymes, Kinetic, Blunted, Headflux, Sketchy, Depthcharge, Soloution, Hit and Run. I have supported various hip hop acts and dnb dj's, includeing The Beatnuts, Killa Kella, Cash Money, Total Science, Friction, Pendulum. I also scratch in an 11 peice dnb band called confidential collective checkout the website www.confidentialcollective.com.
Bio amnesia:
Born: London, 1981
I'm 24, living in Kent, and working in London as a surveyor. First got into drum & bass at about 14/15, got decks when i was 18. Back then the D&B scene in Kent was thriving thanks to the (then) longest-running weekly d&b night in the world, Pure Science. I went to Uni at Oxford Brookes, and started to play out at student nights etc. Then started to mix on 4 decks, together with the 1 like DJ Fu, and Funesia was born... The bookings started to come in thanks to exposure on DOA and other forums. Truckfest '04 sticks out in my mind as a highlight, warming up for Mampi Swift in front of 2 thousand people.
I like to take a methodical approach to DJing, and always try to mix tunes together that complement eachother. I am just starting to get into production, and hope to get some bits released at some point. Watch this space...
