Years ago, Martyn got seriously involved in music through his love for hiphop and house/techno out of Chicago and Detroit. When exposed to drum ‘n bass in 1995, he was destined to take things further musically and build up a career in dj'ing, producing and promoting. As a founding member of the Red Zone collective, Martyn brought the city of Eindhoven (Holland) a range of quality drum n bass nights, with himself as a resident together with Nymfo, Pressure & mc Jay. Since its kick off in 1998, the Red Zone events have grown to become amongst the most influential dnb nights on the continent, and nominated for Best Night at the Dutch DNB Awards three years in a row.
Besides promoting, Martyn has established himself as a DJ (previously he was known as dj Pan). Over the years, he has played at a wide range of venues in the country as well as abroad (UK, USA, Germany, Norway, Belgium, Luxemburg, France), as well as various radio appearances such as bbc 1Xtra, KoolFM London, Studio Brussels (Belgian national radio), 3Voor12 (Dutch national radio) and his monthly “Inside the Red Zone” show on www.bassdrive.com. His vision on dnb is starting to reflect not only in his dj'ing, but in production as well. Nowadays, his music is played by various top dj's such as Fabio, Doc Scott, Digital, Flight, Marcus Intalex, Lee, Fierce and D-Bridge on both radio and live gigs. Martyn has tracks signed to Digital’s L-Plates imprint and dutch label Avalanche. But first up are "Get Down / Can't Control" on Marcus Intalex’ R:evolver and "Nxt 2 U / Deepwood" as the first release on Dj Flight's new label.
Awaiting his releases, Martyn has been spending time in the studio with Hungarians Tactile, as well as working on various tracks with different vocalists, both drum ‘n bass as well as hip hop. Also, his dj’ing has taken a leap with more and more people recognizing his distinct style in dj’ing and production. 2005 is set to be a good year for Martyn!

Ever since I first landed at a drum and bass party, I have been totally addicted to the music and the culture. For a year and a half I've been mixing MP3's onto eachother, until I met El Maria and started to buy records. When a friend of mine (MC Multiplex) turned out to be a MC talent, Chillum, El Maria and Multiplex decided to form Cultural Evolution.
The music that I spin is not really bound to one selective style. Deeper records have my preference above the energetic and records with an experimental feel are also ones I like to spin. As for the rest, my style varies from liquid to amens.

Started listening to drum and bass in 2001, because of many visits to the Black Out and Structure parties, after many years of strictly hip hop. I Got addicted to drum and bass, and decided to buy turntables, and am now addicted to the 'wheels of steel'. At early 2005, together with my partners in crime, Chillum and MC Multiplex, I started the small scaled Cultural Evolution party.
At first I my vision of DnB was narrow and I played almost only techstep, because of the big influence of Black Sun Empire in Utrecht, but now I'm starting to get bored with the whole Technoid happening, and I think my style is getting diverse, check out one of my demo's to see and listen.
I love records that will make you dance and records that are beautiful to listen to, and of course I think that the best records are those which have both these qualities.

KREWZADER (mentallab - BE)
Almost 2 years ago Krewzader bought his first pair of Technics and some d’n’b records. What first sounded as chaos gradually took shape, and he began to understand the sound of the drums and the bass. After practicing for 3 months he got a residency offered @ Café The Cover, in Ghent. Learning a lot during these weekly sessions he developed an own style, he’ll provide you with the more darker psychedelic side of this genre. Nowadays he plays alongside Mc Mush, together they serve you a heavy mix of beats and rhymes. Krewzader is also involved in the scene as promotor, this as founder of mentalLAB and organizing several events such as, Friday Rolling and Boom Biscuits.

MC MUSH
Mush is a new mc that has been doing the verbal thing since November 2003 alongside dj Viehaï.
Recently he also teamed up with Krewzader and became Mentallab‘s resident mc. Since then they attended several parties together, and are growing stronger and stronger every day. He will guide the darker psystep-influenced beats by Krewzader with his upfront and flowing style, being referred too as “renegade hardware” style and leaving him with a shy blush on his cheeks.

come over I would say, martyn is not only a superb dj (you all know him as dj pan from the legendary 
red zone crew) but also an up-coming producer

Dude,whats with "kerel echt"??
Tis de eerste keer dat ik affiches heb gemaakt en ze zijn leesbaar!
(als ge dicht genoeg staat)
Maten van mij hebben ook gezegd dat ik da met pap zou moeten doen ma kheb het nu met tape gedaan.. Uit elk feesje dat ge geeft leert ge toch ?! Zal veel plezier hebben met mijne harde zwarten
