I'm planning to make a trip to londen at the end of the year together with my girlfriend. I was wondering if any of you have some nice tips on what to do or what not to do while we're there. Any tips about attractions, nice venues, nice(affordable) eating places, ... are more than welcome. Any usefull information that cannot be found in the tourist guides easily is very much apreciated too.

clubwise other than fabric, which gets a very teenage crowd, check out Mass in Brixton (nightclub in a converted church) and Herbal in Shoreditch.

Cheap places to eat: Macdonalds

Attractions obviously depend what your into. If you got an intellectual side, London has got more free museums and art galleries of a good standard than any other city in the world, which I would recommend

We'll be there for almost 5days and 4 nights, so there will be more than enough time to do both cultural stuff and the blackmarket store.

Some things we've planned so far: British museum, National gallery, Tate modern, Tussaud's, natural history museum, science museum, old royal observatory, harrods (my gf), regent st, oxford st, tottenham court rd (shopping massive)

I read somewhere that the tower records shop is quiet nice (and open untill 12pm) but is it also good for dnb?

We have our days pretty much filled, but still looking for some nice stuff to do in the evening/night, any suggestions? Nice pubs or something (can't go clubbin' every night). If you find any must-see's missing in the list above, let me know.

Im actually from birmingham so i wouldnt really know all the advice id give is dont get on a bus with any strange looking muslims


oops almost forgot yea deffo go to blackmarket records i went to london especially for that store, they got some sick underground talent on white label in there, check it out because you will most likely get tunes that no other dj will have because there not commecialised you see.

lol wouldn't bother with the science museum its pretty childish, although they got one of those mega size three d screens there but it costs. never been tower records disgracefully, but londons a big plae, and theres no specific pub you could single out. check out the markets, places like Camden and Grenwich.

Camden market is good, lots of cool stuff for the shopping massive.

I'm prob going to England for 3 days with school, including 1 day London, so i hope we get some free time there to go do something we want to..

Djfreemc-- A couple things to get done in London:

Visit Karl Marx's tomb in Highgate Cemetary, Whitechapel, just 'cos people will be impressed over it later

Skip the Jack The Ripper tour. It's really pants. Like, millions of lame tourists all at once looking at basically nothing.

Moon the House of Parliament for me.
