80% of the producers on this site 'forgets' to add an outro ?
Whats wrong ...
Does it take so much effort to add a 40 sec fade out ?

I hate fade outs, Its such a weak way to finish a tune. Its much better if there is an actual ending for a tune

I agree with TechDiff
I don't really consider a fade out as an outro
So I do use proper endings for a song (that's an outro)
But since I don't make a lot tracks it's kind of easy to say
should crank up my production rate very fast

mhave to stick to structure if any of you guys want to get signed...(for a final track that is)
if you checked any of the winnesr of the Knowledge mag comp...most of the tracks are normal length but cut the outro... for listening purposes...

I depends on what you're calling an outro. Outros as fadeouts are not
necessary imo, an ending is what a track requires. But endings can be
completely different - that is up to the author to decide. I personally
think that it's wrong to say that outro=ending, because abrupt endings
can't be called outros. Dam I suck at explaining.

what i do with an outro is kind of like a fade out, but not as in a volume fade. i take out one element at a time until the one i think sounds best alone is left, and after a couple flourishes maybe, end it out.
