Please check out my new track 'Polyamerous (preview*)' and post your comments here!!!
Something i did in about 20-30 minutes...
I went for a dark chilled vibe, with a very ethnic atmosphere...
Eclectic id say...
A mix of a classic metalic break, and latin percusion, on top of rolly deep sub, and eerie squared hit/pad
Also with a tad of childlike vocals, and a lil somethingf from muadibs sample pack...
"its your destiny"
Just a preview atm... check it... Im proud of the mixdown atm...
comments/suggestions please...

100% agreed about the weird pad and synth. They don't sound drum'n'bassy to me at all.
All the other stuff, especially the beats, is cool. Hope to hear the full soon.

hell with what is "drum n bassy" or not, i like things that are different than norm so im thinkin it works pretty nicly. like the strange epic-ness to it like im coming to on some orange and dark atmosphered alien planet with shreikes of sound waves blowin around n craters n toxic liquid bodys of acid and its dark n black n... well yeah, good for the imagination, thats what matters. sounds swell man, i can only say.., well,

still think the sounds are way too cheesy for the kind of dnb you're wantin to make here. but at least you're synthesizing.
fx are really good, i love the vocal and all the reverses and crap.
that cowbell-ish break still seems sorta comical to me, make it sound tight.
greyone dude, don't go completely mad about giving nothing high end, some things have to sound clean to a certain point.
but yeah i dont want this to be our collab surora, i've decided i hate trying to make classic stuff in fruity. the sequencer just isnt right for the complex break patterns. so unless we can BOTH rewire acid...
but this is an interesting direction for you, and i'm always glad to see that.

don't like the square lead on top, maybe a longer attack time on it would make it blend better, it sticks out. The echo effect is too obvious to be eerie. I like the rest though, good work.
