Went yesterday (Lady Vortex, EZ Rollerz and Bryan Gee) and had a good time (some really phat tracks dropped, good sound, nice peepz, not too many rewinds)

No, they weren't live. There was a guy spinnin some plates, an MC and a singer with very nice skillz. So the vocals were live 
Very nice, altho the vocals were a bit too much for my taste at times (not too often tho)

Little review:
Nice meeting some old friends (isnieZot, D-Lux, Saphir, 4EZ, Dizzy...) and meeting some new ones (Spliffrider and finally the one and only thechronic
)
Had some nice chats, especially with Pieter, you're a nice and cool guy!
The DJ's:
Wontime was decent, but not great. The problem was that the MC was too loud and as a result I couldn't really get into the music.
Dillinja & Lemon D. + MC Rage: Owhkey. Now, the playlist was sort of an extreme version of what I expected: Dillinja tune, Dillinja tune, Dillinja-like tune, Lemon D tune (which is esentially the same 
), remix of a Dillinja tune (or was it a new track? 
), Dillinja tune... The mixing wasn't all that great... at all. Expected a lot more there. But the biggest problem was MC Rage (too loud again). His lyrics went like: blahblah... MAKE SOME NOISE!... blahblah... WHERE'S THE NOISE... blahblah... WHO WANT'S A REWIND... blahblah... SOMEBODY MAKE SOME NOISE... blahblah... WHERE'S THE NOISE... blahblah... I WANNA SEE THOSE HANDS UP... for like 3 hours (the blahblah parts were quite short). Glad the public didn't respond to the last "WHO WANT'S A REWIND" shouts, so there weren't any rewinds anymore
Glad I met Pieter early during this set
Millennium Kru: Nothing new here, just decent party making. Had the best time during this set. Myriam, Pieter and I shaked till the end
(I know what you're all saying about da one87, but you can't deny: mixing is decent, and the tunes are phat). To bad they stopped 5 minutes early (tsss!)
@ basslicious: Looked for you all night baby. Myriam said that she saw you walking by once, but I was getting drinks at that moment, so I missed ya. Next try: saturday

yeah sorry , i wasn't too long at ten days last monday surya , it was just too busy to have a real good time there ,
first waited two hours in the row outside altho i was on the guestlist , then when we were finally almost at the front of the row , they hung up a sign , come back at 4h , it's full ... already pretty pissed i made my way to the security and said we were on the list , in the end , we got in with only 3 of the 5 people ( other 2 weren't on the list and even when they wanted to pay full entrance they couldn't get in , "come back at 4" ... so when the group was already separated , a lil blond female bouncer checked my boyfriends backpack and saw all the cd flyers , uuuuu oooowwwwww , confiscated all of them offcourz 
and then finally let us in ....
Running pretty fast to the ballroom coz i wanted to c the end of wontime and we just got in when he was spinning one of his last plates ....
Then dillinja started and i just heard that i was gonne be a "big up himself" set all over again as i saw already at major leaugue , and the mc indeed , really , i don't get the UK hype over this one , he annoyed me twice in the last month ... but anyway , i'm "zaging" again , just can't get over the fact that every dnb party in the vooruit is so commercial , as i said , nooit meer starwarz , now its nooit meer starwarz of ten days !!! Too damn hot and no place , i would have loved to meet you surya , but there will be a time and when you will see me shaking at some lil dnb feestje coz these big ones just aren't for me anymore , much money for little room 
but we had a nice time afterwards , we left at 3h30 of something , and we found first polé polé which was just closed but then we saw some girls and started talking to them and they knew that there was dnb in de sousol so we went there and had a very nice time after all
, it's funny how you sometimes expect too much of something , and are super disappointed coz it didn't live up to your expectations but have a nice time after all 
)
